Roosevelt Park will never be the same. I remember the station,White Castle,the hotel from the 50's and 60's. It was a great city then --till 67 and the element invasion.

i can remember when jackson st. was the only trouble spot.now the whole city went to hell.when i was a kid people used to window shop down town till 9 or 10 at night in the summer.people arent even safe to pass through in their cars.lakeside and the ovals dances ,going to the beach in the evening,no more.norton shores gone to hell.as you may have guessed i dont live there any more.just many fond memories of the way it was.
