There was a Suicide at UWG yesterday..it is said to have been a staff member

Does anyone have any other details about this?

Her name was Lyndie Nix and she was a Bremen graduate. As for why, I have some idea but will not give opinions.

I just heard about it today and they say that she killed herself in the Humanities building. What was sad is that she has two children. Now they are without a mother. :(

I'm a UWG student, and as far as I have heard, she hanged herself in the faculty bathroom two days ago. But supposedly another rumor saying she shot herself on campus is surfacing. The whole story is still relatively quite on campus though, so if anyone knows for sure that would be great.

My wife is a staff member at the University and according to what they have been told by campus police, she did in fact hang herself in one of the restrooms in the Humanities building. There have been TONS of rumors going around; including that this was a murder and that there was some sort of shooting on campus. Based on the official emails that have been sent, these claims are unfounded. Very sad thing to have taken place on campus. Everyone please keep the family in your thoughts/prayers.

She did not have any children

she was my art teacher in 8th grade.

she didn't have any children and she hung herself because she was very sick and her father was about to have to give her a kidney.
