The problems will never be fixed because people are more worried about political correctness than fixing the problem.

The problem is there's to many people who have nothng to loose in Brentwood so they just don't care there could be 50 Check points and things like this will still happen , what can really be done to stop all these killings and violence ? Cops aren't doing shit to solve this problem because there always parked in LIPA in 5 cars deep doing NOTHing or always hanging out at the dunkin donuts next to chineese place at 111 with Suffolk ave so many of these cops are just plain retarded and alot of them never use turn signals and think they own the road in Brentwood , turning their emergency lights on for 2 seconds just to pass a traffic light almost causing accidents ITS A JOKE !!!!

It's not even that, we need to start placing blame on their parents or lack of parenting. seriously, it starts with family, community services aren't enough that can help the child, that isn't enough because at the end of the day he/she still has to go home to a bad environment.

it's way too hard to get out of the bad enviorment when ur surrounded by it it's either be in the bad env or look like an outkast and not fitting in

This all starts at home. The parents are to blame. If parents were more concerned with what their children were doing and keeping them on lock they wouldn't be gang banging. Not only should these kids be held liable but their parents should be just as liable for creating such monsters. I'm leaving Brentwood A.S.A.P!!!

Exactly where are these gangs located and how can they be identified? These scumbags have to lie their heads down somewhere.

if the FEDS WERE doing THEIR JOBS at the BORDER, we wouldn't have even 1/2 of these problems in the first place.

and when Steve Levy and the Suffolk County Police do their jobs, they are called racist and you have the likes of Rev. Ramirez outside with with his mobs and candlelight vigils and Newsday rushing to cast Levy in a bad light with a full page negative story.

Newsday recently had the gall to run a whole series about the problems in Huntington Station---yeah, duh...tons of social problems and gang violence in and around the schools, but don't deport those "without documents" as Newsday loves to call them.

And remember when the police were checking drivers licenses and the Suffolk DA (Spota) stopped them because he said it was "racial profiling?" and why was that? because many were illegal alien Hispanics. and Spota won re-election.

it all starts with the parents and the family upbringing....its just a shame that its the same way with the parents...probably were raised in gangs and thats all they know...they dont give a crap and now Brentwood is taking the hit...cops are doing their jobs, how about the community doing theirs..you know who are members of the gangs....help your community and turn them in...get rid of the trash.....Brentwood has become a third world country.....

MS 13 DEPORT THEM ALL!!!!!!! They don't belong here. Since when do these people have rights. Get rid of the Cancer that has come to this country. I really do feel bad for the parents that busted their asses to get here and work their hands to the bone (that should go through the right steps to be legal), but the waste of sperm they gave birth to that are now killing our kids need to get the hell out of here. And all these political figures that protect them can get the hell out too. Protect them from their country. Let's worry about our own.

All these " gang bangers " aren't all illegal most are just Spanish American kids born here who go to the highschool and end up being in Gangs just to be coooool ms13 , nietas, Latin kings, bloods , crips, and a whole bunch of other small gangs that aren't really even big nAmes
parents can't be blamed once a kid is in highschool your basicly an adult it's hard for parents to keep up when theyre busy bustn their ass working to feed the family

cops could be doing a BETTER job but their not I see them parked in places just lookng for traffic violations how about patrol school yards, take a stroll through timberline park at night , patrol commack movie theater at night , question suspicious cars and pedestrians something !!!
There should be a police tips number kids could text anonymously to rat on people in Brentwood make a number let it be known to schools and post the number at a billboard in Brentwood or something And let there be consequences or fines for false advertisement

Gang members should be put to death. Assasinate them. Seriously they do nothing for society and are killing people who do. They should be equal to serial killers. I suggest the goverment hires some undercover assasin and and wipes out the leaders and put them on display for wrong doing of the society. I do believe in second chances but killing children, they didnt give nor shall they recieve. The same way they judged let them also be judged, we have God on our side. We do not kill the innocent but those who do deserve death.
We have a cancer growing in our own community we need to remove it, before it gets worst and spreads. We pray for mercy, but sometimes when things dont change and sin becomes too much we pray for justice. It is than we carry it our for the safety of our generation. We do not want those who kill others mercilessly for the reward of drugs, money and power to be our future. As God said I do not want sacrifice I want mercy. Either that or lets pray they kill eachother. Let them turn against eachother.

amazing. so it's not the kids responsibility cause they want to be cool and it's not the parents fault because they are busy. it is the suffolk county cops fault. amazing.
