Romney says he would have ordered bin Laden killed

President Barack Obama's re-election campaign has raised questions about Romney's willingness to assassinate the former terrorist leader and mastermind of the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington.

Romney should admit that his business style cost/benefit analysis of the situation would have meant that he would never even found Bin Laden because he wouldn't have put the resources into it, that would be truly honorable. Bush had a stated a similar attitude towards Bin Laden, I think Obama should take credit for putting the resources into finding Bin Laden, where his predecessor didn't and his opponent said he would not.

Why? Do you feel safer now that Bin Laden is dead? Has his death resulted in anything which indicates that this Country is more secure? Safer?

Speaking of honorable, what about Saddam, who was captured ALIVE and brought to justice? Was that not a better result? Isn't that what this Country used to stand for? Justice? Or simply assassinating Government leaders (Khadaffi) or terrorist leaders?

While I personally have no use for Bin Laden, Saddam or even Khadaffi, it appears that this Government is setting a new trend on how to rid the world of these undesirable, which might look good at first, but could backfire in that some Country might consider the same approach to our allies and their leaders. Are you okay with that?

Bin Laden may have been the person (leader) responsible for 911, but it took more than one person to carry that order out. It's possible that in their ranks there is another new leader, still unknown to us.

This one particular act may make absolutely no difference in the scheme of things and there is no reason to "brag" as if the world is a better place without him.

The world IS a better place without Bin Laden. How brain dead could you be to not know this? The mastermind of Al Queda needed to be dead so he would not coming up with anymore wild ideas either in or out of jail. It's like an ant nest. The queen ant has been destroyed and now the nest is without a leader. It will take a while for the "colony" to regroup, but in the meantime it is weak and we can keep better control of it.

Everyone with half a brain knows killing Bin Laden was a good deed. You're just mad because a Republican didn't have the interest or the gumption to get the job done. Unless it personally benefits a Republican, they don't have gumption to do anything. And Republicans want to keep war going at all costs since they profit from it so well.

Obama should be proud and the country should be proud of him. If nothing else, we don't have to worry about Bin Laden scheming and plotting against us.
