Drugs on Kingston?

So I picked my friend up from some dilapidated house on Kingston. When she came out she said there were drugs in the house! I don't know the people that live there except for what they look like. I don't know their names or anything though. It scared the crap out of me. I called the police yesterday and I wanted to know if there had been any arrests or police searches at or in this really ugly house on Kingston. It's near Normantown.

the narc unit would half to get evidence (a bit more than a phone call) by watching x property or doing under cover buys; before they could get a warrent to go into the house to look for drugs, wannabie gang bangers or anything else illegal.but if you wanna keep up on the story check the herald news they usually have local drug bust there. http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/heraldnews... or you could always file a freedom of information act on the given adreess to see poi;ice activty on such place.

There are drug houses on every block in this town.. meh...=/
but yeah, keep an eye out and if you see cars pulling up for a few minutes at a time quite often, notify the police and they will investigate. If it's true, it shouldn't be long before the scumbags are busted.
For the most part, Romeoville cops are very lenient about drugs. I've even been to parties where they show up & condone Marijuana and underage drinking.. But if neighbors are complaining, then they'll step in as expected.

if its true that the cops allowed the illegal bs to happen why didnt you report them to the higher ups of the rpd or was a cop's kid in the house ?? they've busted parties that i have heared of that dosen't happen in fact they've taken the joint out of a guys mouth and slap the cuffs on him at a party on my block on halloween...from what i have heared....and yes romoville has drug house mostlly selling pot and meth the new drug of choice for the teengers

The main problem is, Neighbors are alot of the time afraid to report the drug houses for fear of reprisal. How can the police start an investigation on a house if noone will report, even anon, whats happening there.

Proactive measures can only go so far in Law Enforcement, which means that the Police are, primaraly, a REACTIVE originization. We all know that drug provention measures work to some extent, but the rest of drug enforcement comes from arrests and convictions. So take an active role in cleaning up the town, Call The Police. Enough resident complaints and they can shut down these houses.
