Sadly, I was very disappointed with the place. I've gone in three times. Each time, my order was incorrect. On the last occasion, when I checked the bag and found the order incorrect, the clerk sighed loudly and rolled her eyes when I pointed out the mistake. The food wasn't that good. I thought the pizza was greasy and the beef was tough and tasteless. I love to support our local business, but unfortunately, I won't be back.

Windy City Beef on the other side of town has Fat Ricky's hands down in quality. Even Brothers Home Plate has them beat. I dont go to fat Ricky's anymore

You know, I think you're right. I don't know what's happened there though. Even this summer, Fat Ricky's seemed fine. But the last two times we've been there (both in the past month) our to go orders have taken 15 to 20 minutes and the beef was tough and italian sausage overcooked in their combos.

I've been going to Windy City since it opened and they have three things going for them as far as I'm concerned: 1) a better menu, 2) good food with good service, and 3) pretty much the same staff for a long time. Rickey's can be good, but they seem to turn over their staff a lot and the kids at the register really just don't seem to care.

I agree Windy City is very welcoming, Fat Ricky's has a cold atmosphere.

I have to say I agree with you hands down about Windy City about all your points, customer service is so very important and they win that out of all most every business in the Ville.

We quit going to Fat Ricky's. We paid over 26 bucks for an "ok" 18" pizza. We waited a long time to pick it up and got attitude from the staff. By staff I mean kids that could care less. Won't be going back.

I have picked up a few pizza's at Fat Rickys and I have not had a problem with the service there. Now, I have picked up a few pizza's at Rosati's and that is a different story. I think the young ladies there are nice. I have had the manager give me my pizza twice, and he is not a nice person. Cocky, ignorant. I took my business away from that jerk. Loved your pizza Rosati's, but the jerk ruined it for me.

OMG! Maryland Fried Chicken was the best...wonder what ever happened to them. They had a place in Shorewood but that's gone now too...LOVED THAT CHICKEN. There is a place in Plainfield called the Backdoor Pub their chicken is kinda like Maryland fried.

The best Pizza in town IMHO is Michael's. My family has been ordering from there since before I went to High School.
Sub Dock had the best beef in town before they closed. I worked there for a bit and they roasted their own beef. They also had great dogs too.
I can remember the Maryland Chicken sign but I dont remember the food.
And no food2, I'm 215lbs and a huge foodie. Just because someone has a different opinion than you dosent make them an Idiot. You like Fat Rickys, then go there. Myself, I will go to Windy City. Thats the beauty of having different places to go in town, you pick what you like.

Fat Ricky's is disgusting, in my opinion.
I know pizza is supposed to be greasy, but their pizza takes grease to the next level.

Rosati's is simply the best pizza around. We get the extra large pizza and with that they give you a free small cheese. They never say anything if you don't have the coupon for the free pizza. During the week I run in there for the lunch specials, usually the beef sandwich with cheese. Yuummmm......I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Have any of you that had a bad experience called the store and talked to Ricky, made an appointment to talk to him or asked to talk to him while you were there? If not do so, as he takes complaints very seriously. As for the attitude of the counter help, again talk to Ricky himself or the manager on duty that is not tolerated and will be corrected.

I like At's a Nice, Jimano's and Michael's for pizza. Pauly's for sit down and delivery and the other two for delivery only as they do not have anyplace to eat in their stores.

I hear what you're saying, but really, rather than put in that effort I just take my business elsewhere.
