The idiots are the people who let Target link a store debit card to their checking accounts. Seriously who in their right mind would sign up for that?

Debit cards are for the lazy. Nothing more embarrassing than watching someone put a sub-$2 charge on their card. Carry cash

Why is using a debit card embarrassing or lazy? I swipe my card, grab my receipt and go. Nobody has to count the money I handed them and nobody has to count out my 37 cents change. It's nice and fast so I can get back to being lazy.

That's right! Plus, I find using a debit card is cleaner. The less paper money that's been who knows where that I touch, the better. And, especially for those small purchases, a debit card tracks my non-credit expenses down to that proverbial penny that we're told to count so the dollars can take care of themselves.

Lier! You use it because you are too lazy to try and count your loose change enough to buy a coffee. Cash is king and always will be.

It was banking credit cards that had their funds stolen. Not the target debit cards. Bad info you have.
