Thousands in line for swine flu shots in Oakland, Wayne

Hamtramck -- Thousands seeking the first wave of southeast Michigan's public doses of the H1N1, or swine flu, vaccine flooded clinic sites in Oakland and Wayne counties Saturday morning.

Pig flu cases are turning up all over and the symptoms are bad.
My friend just had a person from out of state staying over for the Freep Marathon last week and he came down with something that turned out to be the flu. She caught it and was so dizzy that she fell down and broke her ankle and is now in the hospital for both. She is 61 years old. I guess she is just under the point where she was expected to have prior immunity to the disease. This thing is very contagious. Kids supposedly gave it to a flock of turkeys somewhere last week. Don't panic, but you could expect some downtime while you are sick building up immunity for the next pandemic thirty years from now.
