Hmmm. I just brought my dogs in. Didn't notice any mushroom cloud on the horizon in that direction...

There's a lot of really great people in Rome if you cut through the trash, the burglar's, store thieves, and scum bags that cant seem to clean their environments, the ones that throw trash in my front lawn and on the streets. Drive by some of these houses you can clearly tell who keeps their property up and who can care less. Luckily they are in the minority.

The really great neighbor's are in every neighborhood if you get out there and become more social and welcoming. We help our elderly neighbors every chance we get and take nothing in return.

I saw a couple running up James Street(for exercise), and the guy stopped and helped an elderly woman cross the street by Byrne Dairy. It was the nicest thing I've seen in a long time. :)

Yep, there are some nice exceptions to be found in Rome.

I am forever grateful that I no longer live among The Locals. Escaped the Hell which is Rome,NY, a long time ago. But I remain close enough to watch the show.

Carry on, Locals. Carry on.
