" dont sit in that chair, you will die" well, I know I will eventually, but that was in the 70's and we all took turns sitting in that metal Rocking chair, except the screaming girl that was with us.

The lot on Williams Street will freak you out. The guy who lives next door will run you off if you try anything. So what's a ghosthunter to do? I went there before all the snow fall this week after hearing about this spot. I brought a friend with me just for company and to keep myself awake. It was about 1:30AM and within minutes of being there we both were awe-struck by the sights and sounds.

What started as a rumbling under our feet turned into a moaning above us. Then out of the clear night we started seeing these beads of light. These were not "orbs" or at least they were unlike any orbs I have ever seen. I so wish I had brought along at least some basic equipment with me but it was sorta a spur of the moment thing when we decided to go there. What happened next I refuse to describe here as it is quite unbelievable and even though I was there and saw it with my own eyes I still don't believe it.

All I can say is that it is indeed haunted and I will definitely be returning in the spring to check it out further.

Where in Lee Center are these houses? I would love to see them. I've seen many haunted places. But these sound to good to be true.

Folks,
That Rome Investigators of the Paranormal group is quite legit. I know a few of the members, one's a local historian, another has his doctorate in techy stuff and the others are all well rounded, brilliant minds as well. Not to mention their credentials are quite solid.

You can browse the site without becoming a member, it is pending some updates, but they have done the Capitol Theater and Fort Stanwix here in Rome as well as some other private residences. And no it was not with the inept members of CNYghostpeddlers or what not... They work exclusively as a team of 4-6 (usually).

Does anyone remember the old Gurley and Fleet building that used to be on the corner of Black River boulevard and Stanwix (?). They later demolished the building and put up the law offices and it is now a sleep clinic I think. I remember stories about that place being haunted. I guess the man who once lived there killed his family and hung himself. I could never walk into that building without the hair standing up on the back of my neck. Mechanics who worked there said they heard and saw things over the years. I could never find out info on the murder/suicide. Anyone?

ok I know this is old...but which house on huntington? I grew up on embargo right behind huntington. my mom still lives in the house at the end of the alley. When I was a baby we used to live in the yellowish orange house three houses from the parking lot..I think when I was young I heard my mother tell stories of that house being hunted but not sure if that is the house she was talking about it has been along time sense I have heard her tell the story. Another house in that area that is supposed to be hunted is 119 embargo used to here stories about it when I was young, also used to live there myself when I was a kid and was always freaked out when left in my bedroom by myself. The attick entry was in my bedroom...but then again I was only about 9 or 10 when we moved out of there so it could have just been my mind.

Ok been waiting for this.RIP here is a perfect plan.Go call Casper the ghosts agent up and see if for the right price he will come out and do a event with you. Then you can take a few pics with him post them all over the web and pretend to be life long friends like you do with all these other things from tv.You guys are the biggest jokes I've seen in sometime.JOHN ZAFFIS used to have a name until he obviously sold out with that dumb show of hos but Dustin Perry the idiot who wore his hat upside down and pretends to be a somebody I would have more respect for you if you stayed true to yourself and actually investigated the paranormal but no you guys are sold out before you even began. What is this field turning into?sad but people actually buy your bs truth b told you guys should be ashamed of what you do and how you do it.its fraud

what you do for work has nothing at all to do with how well you perform as a researcher. This Rome group that your claiming to be so great are nothing more then taps wanna b's they have no legit work under there belt and I am weary of anyone who idolize these things on television.Do a event without the tv personnel stop putts.g them up on your flyers represent yourselves. What you do is not research at all but more like agents for these other people They are not associating with you for free they need to payed to be on your presence.Does that not tell you something

Wow - you really have an erection for this team. Let me guess, you're the same moron posting on the other threads - hunting down old topics to attempt to stir up trouble? Go sell some more cars.

Mike N,are you back? Seems so from the tone of some of these posts. How are things going these days, still selling insurance? By the way, I hear that Craig G is no longer a 315 member. What happened, did he get caught with his hand in the cookie jar?
