Walmart at night

I had to go to Walmart at 12:30 this morning. I wanted to shop earlier but had to work overtime. I have too much to do at home today and didn't want to go out so there I was shopping in the middle of the night. Anyway I was expecting them to be out of a lot. I was in frozen foods and couldn't find any corn. As I was looking a young stocker guy asked if he could help me find something. I said well there is no corn left,I guess that is what I get for waiting until last minute. He went in back and found some for me. How nice. I didn't even ask he offered. Every isle I went in someone was offering help. WOW! I will have to say this was a refreshing change from all the negativity encountered on a daily basis. I had to share. Everyone have a happy Easter!

Walmart may be welfare city because of the people in There but most of the workers do actually care to make the customers happy , just because someone is posting positive on topics doesn't mean u have to talk shit , damn I hate ignorant ppl

I work my azz off. I shop there because it is cheaper than the alternative and you can find everything in one location. I may go in to buy groceries and see a shirt I like. When you work a lot you have to conserve time. Everyone in Rome shops Walmart for something.

My child even has favorite cashiers. If he goes with Grandma he tells me "oh our favorite lady cashier said hi". The cashiers I have encountered are always friendly and certain ones are like friends.

Pretty much if you are friendly they are too. Treat them like you would want to be treated. The only time I can say different is when you get in a new persons line especially a new guy. They are concentrating so hard on doing everything right that they forget to smile and talking is out of the question. I always say "don't worry so much you are doing a great job". This little encouragement goes a long way.

A lot of the time people go in with attitudes and are miserable. The funny thing is they have no clue how hard it is to work with the public because they are in there with their food stamp cards and have never worked.
Thank you

Thank you for this post. I admit I can be negative and do my share of putting down most things Rome, but this is absolutely true. I work late and sometimes do my Walmart shopping at night, and have never ONCE had a bad experience with the workers. They are always friendly and looking to help. Now the shoppers, that's obviously a different story. After all, it IS Rome.

hey, I left my purse with a wallet with all it's contents and cell phone in a shopping cart and realized it when I got home, rushed back -worried everything would be gone. Went to customer service and they had it locked up. One of the cart retrievers found it. I left my name and number to offer the finder a reward and no one answered. Walmart rules. All the customer service associates are very friendly as well. All my experience at Walmart have been positive.

The workers are very helpful to me when I am shopping there and friendly. It is better to shop early morning or late at night to avoid the filth that goes in there.Like now you won't see me anywhere near the store because of the 1st of the month.Don't blame the store or hard workers blame the garbage that takes advantage of the system and enjoys their useless lives.

Oh believe me I have been there. And back when you had to use the stamps and not the card. It was very embarrassing. I may have not been as friendly due to embarrassment but never was I rude like some of these people. It is okay to need help but not okay to act as if everyone owes you a living. These employees are there to earn a living. They don't deserve the treatment they get from some people.

I agree not everyone recieving stamps is on welfare , I'm a single mother who works full time and goes to school full time and receive a small amount of foodstamps , but have my own medical and no welfare or other assistance and I'm far from a welfare case ... Some people deserve it
