Another business closes in Rome. Right under city hall nose.
Where are the jobs Mr Fusco?
What is it that you do to earn your $80k a year?

What ever happened with the meeting Fusco was suppose to have with this women who has the property she has not paid taxes on or cleaned up? He was going to resolve the issue but I have heard nothing more on the issue. I have heard she is maybe in some way connected to the property where the harbor project and visitation center Fusco wants to build on. What about his proposal to buy out one of his campaign supporter property in south Rome with taxpayer’s money? Funny since Griffo appointed one of the Waters to his committee the Rome rag has stopped reporting what is really going on in city hall. What up with all these great things the great one was suppose to do with all his campaign promises? The only things I know he has done since he has been in office is hire some of his friends, boot a cat from the old city hall, buy new office furniture, appoint his slum lord buddies to committees, force out good people who knew what they were doing, refuses to offer a reasonable contract to employees, honor his father rather than recognize vets who died while serving their country, give lip service to the people of Rome, watch businesses close, and make little effort to bring in new jobs or keep the ones we have, have some lines painted on the streets. Other than that I don't see much happening. Oh forgot the suit with Garrett, and the possible voter tampering allagations. Did I miss anything here? A one eyed left-handed monkey could do a better job.

you forgot his plans to buy out buildings and businesses in his way for his Harbor project...not the one previously approved. You forgot his allowing illegal dumping at the cemetary...see the piles on ashphalt at the side and back. You forgot his not paying open payable contracts and locking poor animals in the sign shop while he dinked around. You forgot the fact that he owns several properties that are on the brink of slums. You missed the fact that he offers childrens events in an area with pediphiles and does not have the ...x*2**.. to show up himself.
How about his taking the city electric carts for his personal use during CanalFest.
How about instead of trying to save the Social Security offices in Rome he hands it off to someone that does not have a interest in Rome to handle.
How about his only showing up for any city events when he knows it will be a photo op for him...tsk tsk. Who wants to see an absent Mayor?
How about promises to clean up the city, the dump at Rodmill was scheduled, then rescheduled, then scheduled again for last month and still being used for an unpaid storage area for the contractor that was supposed to do the work.
Where is Joe maintaing an office to do his Mayor work? He sure isn't giving us a full time mayor that he promised, nor has he given up the cemetary, since he gets free housing and has someone else dig his graves and do what little maintenance is done there. Just letting illegal dumping going on there.
I dont believe one word of the reasoning giving for purchasing the properties by the city to overcome vibration and noise, Tommy wanted out so he can move to Watertown and ge got it.
Joe is so far over his head and no one with any real power is either willing to step in (LOL as if Joe would allow it) and help him or even better why aren't the powers that can....impeach him !
What about all the calls to council members to vote for a no confidence vote? Council members are liars (well maybe not all of them) and will back Joe with any of his little threats or whatevers he manage to make things his way. I have NO confidence in Joe, LESS confidence in the Council members...they keep everything a secret until the open meeting (which btw all meetings are supposed to be open according to NYS law)> The final board meeting where the public usually gets a first chance to meet some of the items being voted on are predetermined by the board in their preboard meetings..not like that is hard to tell by the way the voting is rushed through and items passed before anyone could object)
I am sure someone with some power out there has the balls and the will power to get off their duff and take on the Mayor and is buddies....Enough meaningless talk...Legislators and Assembly, Senators, Governor...do something NOW, give us all a christmas present we can finally appreciate.
Between this and the previous by Resident, I doubt we have even begun to scratch at the surface of Joes inemptness as Mayor.
