just read a story about a 5 year old who accidentally shot his 2 year old sister with a rifle that the 5 year old received as a gift last year. ok, who buys a 5 year old a rifle? why wasn't the rifle locked? why was the rifle loaded? why did the 5 year old have access to the rifle? why would a child be left unattended where there's a firearm available? good thing they had that rifle for protection, wait, maybe they had the rifle so the 5 year old would have something to play with. hey, prayers go out, but when is enough, enough

There you go putting responsible gun owners in the same category as this dumbass who bought his 5 yr old son a gun and didn't store it properly so that the kid didn't have ready access to it..you want to take everones guns away because of one idiot...you are even more lame brained than the father of those poor kids...smh

other then "because you have the right to", why do you own a gun? i go to the store for my food so i don't have to use a gun to hunt and if i need a gun for protection then i'm gonna change my group of friends and or move. we have so many rights in this country that we DON'T act on yet the right to arms is sometimes seemingly the only right we care about. what if we didn't have that right? i mean, are there countries who don't allow their citizens that right and if so what's their crime like regarding firearms?

I own a gun because I hunt. Yeah I buy food but my meat bill is way down because I can shot a supply food to my family. I own a gun because even though I trust my friends I do not trust those I do not know. home invasions happen all the time.

Yes other Countries don't allow guns. They are under rule of Dictators.
Yes crimes are higher in Countries that do not allow or have strict gun control. Google would have answered that for you.

Rights are practiced every day. You right to relegious Freedom. Unless lately you are Christian and in the Military.

Your right to Freedom of Expession. Unless is is against Muslims. You know then can burn the flag right on our soil but the President makes a issue out of a Anti Muslim Movie.

Your right to vote. Although elections are rigged.

Im not gonna sit her and list everyone but rights are expressed and protected all the time.

The constitution guarantees us certain rights including the right to bear arms. The people involved with the 5 year old and gun, are criminals and should be prosecuted. This however does not reflect upon law abiding gun owners any more than an owner of a pressure cooker should be labeled a terrorist. LIVE FREE OR DIE

You're rights are your rights....my rights are my rights..all im saying is that when some dumbass who shouldnt own a gun in the first place allows they're 5 yr old kid to have access to a gun and something like that happens don't come barking up us law abiding responsibile gun owners trees..good for you if you shop at the store for your meat...and good for you if you think that moving to a different location is gonna protect you from burglars, rapists etc...truth is crime is every where now...not just ghettos and certain parts of town...I own guns to protect my family...to hunt for my meat and because I like to target shoot for recreation when I'm not hunting...it pisses me off that everytime someone uses a gun in a crime you liberals and what not make the first thing out of your mouth.."oh we have to take guns away from everyone"...look at Chicago...strictest gun laws in the country...one of the highest crime rates in the country..you can't take guns from law abiding citizens and leave criminals in checked...do you honestly think criminals are going to follow any laws?? If you do than you need serious help
