This is in regards to what Uh oh said. I find it amusing that the writer( we al know who you are) goes on to say my son is disrespectful and is a poster child for problems in this community. Fact number 1 is that he has never been in trouble, Professional people speak very highly of him, dedicates his time volunteering at a church, and does very well in school. Fact number 2I dont say how good my son is, other parents, teachers and coaches and teamates inform me of what he does or did. Dont get me wrong like any other parent I will say my son is good but I teach him humbleness. Its funny though you of all people are not a trrue fan of the team. Your'e whats called a bleecher coach, talking about what you would do if you were coach. The same old song and dance since pop warner. Its time to grow up stop living your glory days through your child. Let him be himself, you had your time. Its funny how I never post on this garbage sight but when my son ccame to me and showed me this I had to respond. What you did to name children saying that they are trouble and saying that another one isnt good in football is ignorant. Take a look in the mirror and say Damn Im Stupid for picking on a child. I for one dont care abt who the coach is or if they win or lose. I just want my son to be the best that he can be and have love for the game of football and maybe just maybe him and his teamates win a championship and further their careers.
PS...im going to call you...JD for short. The pop warner thing, I have no Idea what you are talking about, because when your son obviously was playing pop warner, my son was already on varsity in the 10th grade, there is at least a 4yr difference. As for never coming on here...now we all know THATS not true. you are all over this site when it comes to talking about football and #22...lmfao. And the last thing I will say, Is I HAVE PERSONALLY SEEN YOUR SON AND CURTIS TALK BS AND YELL FOUL LANGUAGE TO THE OPPOSING TEAM AND PAYING CUSTOMERS DURING & AFTER VARSITY GAMES. They were reprimanded by several by standing parents in TWO separate games I witnessed. I may be quiet, but I see what goes on. I have heard you are a good guy, I have no beef, but....don't think you know who I am, because we are in two different worlds. My son is already going to college on a scholarship, yours can too. Just be careful who he hangs out with.

ted is smart and dedicated, and he knows his stuff. i was one of the first people he ever coached and he was an excellent influence on my life, and the others around me. RFA football is about the students..the less focused in general they are,and structured their life is on average will detract from the talent. The coach can only do so much, it is on the players to win. there will never be a man who is as dedicated to the RFA Football program as he is. shame on all you sore losers. perhaps if the criticizem was focused in a positive way and he had the support and help from y'all, the team would be doing better.

I don't think rocky c is interested but I would of found a way to contact him and talk to him. Swavely has ruined our program. They will not be any better this season. Rfa will never get rid of him.

Ummm excuse me but if you respected him and he was such a great coach... why the hell you calling him by his first name then! seriously who are you trying to kid? I had a coach 40 years ago and I still today refer to him as coach because I respected him.. some of the others that I didnt.. I call them by first name. So dont try to say hes such a great coach because studies PROVE that players that respect their coaches still call their coaches by their coach names if they respected them... if they didnt... then they call them by first name basis. Learn respect and what it really is!

the program has been in a state of decline since the nineties. take your blinders off. i call him ted because thats his name, and i have have known him forever. and in knowing him forever can attest to whats important to him and the content of his character better than most. I also remember when COACH Mys was around and RFA had poor seasons. Even he would agree that players win the game. I am biased, admittedly, but that doesn't make me wrong.

Hi I have an agenda. I post negative things about coaches on topic anonymously so that I can try to promote my old friends from the neighborhood as coaches instead. Meanwhile I post stats about one team in the district when none of the sports teams are that great anymore because the city has gone to crap. We have murders drugs and robberies. We struggle to pass classes and we have kids who have no respect because parents don't care anymore. I may be an old timer but these so called athletes wouldn't hold a candle to my old third string! Kids don't play and when they do they don't really "play" they put on a uniform and complain while mommy and daddy tell them to wait by the phone for their pro offers. No sport in this district will really be great again with the I want this I deserve that attitude that is supported by parents. I didn't raise my own children that way and none of them live at home good luck with yours.

Hockey has always been good. Football has been terrible. Can't blame the talent pool.

ALL RFA sports are on a decline in wins and successful seasons....FIRE STAMBOLY!!! Listen, there are coaches, and then there are "CHAMPIONSHIP COACHES"...THAT'S why schools seek out and employ coaches and retain them for big bucks...Hire a coach that KNOWS HOW TO WIN...NOT 'WANTS' TO WIN, and you will have a successful program. You can't hire the first guy in line that applies. Damn people, it's not rocket science...it's been that way since sports got technical. Talent obviously helps, but nothing compares to hard work, discipline, and a coach that can mold and put it together in his athletes. You can blame losing seasons on everything you guys have mentioned in this post, but It comes down to leadership. Every successful war, every successful movement in a countries history relied on LEADERSHIP. Not my theory, history provides the facts...even in sports history. Look up ANY championship team, and look at the head/assistant coaches role in those teams, always a solid, no-nonsense coach that strives for perfection, NOT laid back, excuse makers. Think for just a moment,(if you are a true sports fan) and think of ANY championship team in your recollection, now think about after they win that championship. Eventually, after all the game changing plays are played out on ESPN, it all comes down to the COACHING and that coaches game plan. Good coaching doesn't always equal championship seasons, but they will more times than not, be successful and definitely a step in the right direction. "That's all I have to say about that."
