<quoted text>I beg to differ with you on this one. The first year the pool was closed for construction they had it full of materials. The second time it was closed in Browns term was for bullsht reasons. The construction did not start until Sept. that year. The pool was closed then opened for a year then closed again. Brown assured me that it would be opened the next year. Well little did he know that we would have Fucko in office. Brown closing the pool his last year cost him my vote. I sure as hell wasn't voting for Fucko so I didn't vote at all.
You really showed them didn't you moron? Look who we are stuck with.

I was and still against closing the pool, but I worked there for the entire project and I know where and when we secured our materials. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FREAKIN CONCESSION STAND! How much plainer does some one have to be before you get it in your head? We also were working on the filtration and new water lines, roof that was put on. If you went back there and inside the fence you would have seen all the materials and it was no place for kids to be playing. It was bad enough we had adults in our way all the time while we were trying to work. More than likely you were one of them that kept yelling at us for not working faster so you could open the pool. Hell we did not work for the Rec department and you people were blaming us for it not being open. So end it, the freaking thing is going to be opened and you can dance around all you want now. Don't think it was anything you did to get it opened either. Fuckonut had no choice but to open it, because it makes him look like he is doing something. Election year they need all the brownie points they can get because he has not done anything yet worth a shit.
We are obviously talking about different times. You are talking about 4 summers ago. I am talking about 2 summers ago but what ever! I know it was nothing I did to open the pool because we moved away and I did not fight for it this year. I was not one of the adults bothering you as I lived on the other side of the pool and understood the importance of closing the pool that year.

NO I am not talking 4 summers ago. Look I am not going to argue with you. You got your mind made up you are right no matter what others say. I know what we did and when we did it. Done.

Guess you might be right. No sense arguing with a sidewalk supervisor. This person apparently knows more than the people who were actually working the site.

Also last year the councilor told me that She went to Brown and asked him to keep the pool closed the year before because a pedestrian was killed by one of the construction vehicles and she was concerned for the safety of the children. So I will admit that I was wrong in not voting for Brown. I can be pig headed like that sometimes.
Pig headed I agree with you on that, but what are you talking about when you say someone was killed? Thats totally news to me. Who, What, When, Where, and back it up with the article.

Ramona Smith told me the day she came to the pool and we were picketing. She said that it was her idea to close the pool the year before because and elderly pedestrian was hit by one of the construction vehicles and killed. I knew nothing of it but someone else(I don't remember who)said the guy was drunk and stepped out into the street at the wrong time. Just going by what Ramona Smith said.
