Stamboly should be held accountable for the actions of the hockey players during the tournament. Nobody respects the guy that's why they act like iddiots. Stamboly must go. Make the call Simons. Head coach must go to. They think they own the rink. Taxpayers own it buddy.

Cuthberson is a piece of S*it!! His players all hate him!!! He had a great team last year and blew it!!! And you can say what you want about their record this year but they haven't played a team that has any talent. And will go no where again this season!

Hey - None of this is new. Rome sports, athletes and parents have a terrible reputation. But, it is well earned. Now, let's see if anyone does anything about the kids who are spoiled little azzholes and the parent who raised them that way and the coaches who are too stupid to know what is important.

my son did play on the hockey team three years ago and let me tell you if he every did what that team did i can tell you my husband or myself would have went in that locker room and we would have pulled him out,so some of this go back to the parents.Stamboly is a jerk he needs to go he does not look out for the program at all,my son also played on the baseball team and coach davis is no better than coach c.Davis swears and throws thing at the kids and my son was a kid that played all the time but when it came to play offs my son had it with Davis and quit the team because of him i called Stamboly and he said Davis would not be coaching the next year but three years later he is still coaching, rfa has such a bad name because of what these coaches are teaching are kids.

Coach Davis is the man !!! I played football and baseball for him and now he's coaching my son. Old school coaching at its best. If a kid screws up or doesn't hustle then chew their asses out. My son loves playing for him as much as I did. So quit bashing him he's a good man.

o ok old time coach is fine but i can tell you that is why when he used to coach at the collage level they got rid of him and i can tell you that the kids can not stand him.my son played at many level of baseball and hockey and has been coached by many great coaches in both sports, but Davis is the worst i have ever seen.Davis is one of them coaches that if your dad is his good friend then you are in.

No one has a clue what went on! This is unbelievable my son Garrett would NEVER have walked off the ice pouting over a Loss!! The kids had no clue what was going on! It may sound weird but its the truth! Garrett was told to get off the ice by the coach when he started slowing down, realizing something was going on! So please Stop talking about the Kids that were Only listening to what they were told to do!! My son was upset All weekend over this, so whoever is the person calling the kids spoiled little azzholes - be man or woman enough to write ur name and say ur Sorry to the kids! From the mom of one of the captains- can u guess?! By the way I didnt raise my son to be disrespectful and he Isnt! I know he doesnt Like to lose but he would Never act like that! I dont know how the miscommunication happened, but it did - to No Fault of any kids!

In the end, the coach is responsible for what his team does or how they act. My understanding is that the tournament officials did not let the coach know what the schedule of events was going to be after the game. This is the result of miscommunication, plan and simple.

no i wasn't in a cubby but was the story made up in the rome news paper lie come on so what your telling me is only them three players knew what was going on,and for those three boys great job and the parents of them boys should be proud of them.as for you boys you know it is the truth and im sure you can ask anyone and they will all say the same thing that is funny isn't it,hope you have a great day

rfa09, I find it very hard to read your posts and understand what you are trying to say, I'm sorry the Rome Education system failed you.

The story in the paper only shows one side of this story. Remember the truth always lies somewhere in the middle.

Are you serious? Misunderstanding? Every tournament has an awards presentation afterward. Nobody had to tell the coach. He already knew. No excuses. RFA's conduct was unacceptable.

this had nothing to do with her son playing in fact she didn't have a son playing.she was the sister of the man that this award was for and they are great people.this is nothing new it is done every year so all i have to say is shame on the rfa hockey team and thank you to those three boys that stayed on the ice

They are great people , but the kids had nothing to do with it and RFA never put that tournament on before it was always bantams or midgets , there was not even mention of it being Ricks tournament, That is no excuse but something went wrong, somewhere, thru the Coaches! As for the kids that stayed, lucky them that they were the last on the ice and were not told by the coaches to go in the locker room, they, at least ,will not be called names from adults!!
