Absolutely nothing. They are both wonderful people with great business sense. That is why no one else has any negativity to spew on this thread. Some people find a reason to complain about everything. Probably jealousy.

Do you think these "punks" are going to mug you in front of the store? They are just teens hanging with there friends. Stop being so chicken. Most of them are good kids.

Oh please. There is barely Anyone that hangs out inn front of store. If you see some people in front of store, they are probably only there for a few mins while someone goes in or they had just came out. Losers. Time to support local & small business.

Plus those so called punks are a big part of their business. I used to live in the area. This time of year when school starts the kids start hanging with their friends again. They go as groups, which you would probably call gangs,to Tony's and Bill's and spend MONEY. I hate when people see teenagers together and automatically think they are looking for trouble.

Oh STFU. Who wants to walk into a store and have to pass though a bunch a teenagers. I live in the area and sometimes I just want to walk to the store with my 3 year old instead of getting the car and driving to tops. Well I did once, once! I walked to Bills with my kid and I don't know what was so funny, but they were laughing and using foul language. Then after we got through the five teens to get in them place, when we went to leave, the group was play fighting, not paying attention and almost knocked my 3 year old down. I didn't say a word and one said "say sorry man" and mm another said "fu ck that, she's alright". Freakin punks and I have no desire to ever go to Bills ghetto store again.

You just went at wrong time. It doesn't happen like that everyday. Jeez. Grow up.

Just wait til your 3 years old turn into teen, he will be like them because of how YOU are.

Loool how I am? I went to a store with my kid and didn't bother anybody!!! WTF are you talking about? Now if you want to talk about how I was when I was that age? I was embarrassed for an adult to hear me curse, I sure cussed around my friends, but my parents taught more respect than to curse at an adult and a toddler! You sound stupid and sticking up for disrespectful teens just exacerbates that behavior. My kid might act like that, who knows, but it won't be because he thinks it's ok. And he sure as hell won't want me to know about it. Wrong time of day! Please, so now I have to time when I can go to Bills lol I can go to Tops at any time.

So because one teen was ignorant you are against all of them? What about the one with manors who was obviously taught respect? One ruined it for all? Also,do you talk this way around your 3 year old? I would guess YES. You talk about the foul language these "punks" were using. yet you go on to use the same language. Read your post and tell me that when your child grows up they won't be using the same language they have heard from YOU. Grow up! They were not laughing at you. They were having fun laughing with friends. When Bill was there these kids all respected him and listened to him because they grew up knowing him. He never looked down on them. He would just tell them to move on and they would. Give the new owners a chance. They are good people.

I talk around my kid the way an adult is supposed to talk around a 3 year old. What does that have to do with teenagers hanging around Bills??? You grow up! How do you know what they were laughing at? Were you there? NO! So please, debate like a grown up or go hang outside of Bills with the rest of the children. If Bills Variety wants to have this kind of clientele, fine, but don't expect EVERYBODY to want to hassle their way through a bunch of teenagers to get into the store. I don't like the place and I'll go to Tops.

Last time my friend's teen daughter walked to Bill's with other friends, some Hispanic kid that was chilling with his posse out front followed her down the street after they exited the store.
She told us his speech was slurred and he smelled like booze. He was asking her for a BJ. Real nice, huh? And trust me, my friend's daughter was not dressed provocatively nor did she entice him in any way. The kids just wanted to buy a soda and some snacks to take to youth group.

And those punk kids are always hanging out there!!!!! They swear, deal drugs ,make sexual advances to females, you name it. Not to mention that you have to walk through a huge cloud of smoke to enter the store.

Wonder how many former customers just keep walking, rather than deal with that?

I remember when I went there every day after swimming at the pool so I could get a soda or something for the long walk home.
It was so much simpler then.
