Back in the day, when a virgin wife was all the rage and men used to hang bloody sheets out of their windows to publicly announce a deflowering, first-time sex bleeding was important.

I just think it's wrong for this to even be brought up in a public forum.

Yeah that sounds great...not! It was HER virginity but he acts like it's HIS to take. Then to reduce her to a mere blood stain on a sheet for all to see. Yeah, I'd rather be called a hoe because I gave it up a couple of times to the wrong guy than married off at 14 and have the whole town witness what comes from my private parts on my wedding night. Glad I live in this era, as imperfect as it is.

Waiting until marriage is stupid - wouldn't want to discover he was a minute man or an unskilled lover.

It really should not be up to the woman. It's up to the man to decide how he wants to run the house hold. A woman should be a virgin prior to marriage. Unfortunately times have clearly changed for the worse.

Have you ever noticed that all of the woman's libers marry rich men who can take care of them. Molly Yard, Gloria Steinem, Hillary Clinton, Madeline Albright,... Then they preach how independent they are and how women don't need men and can take care of themselves. It's too bad you fall for this dribble. Women and men are equal but they are not equivalent. Find a man that can take care of you in his way and you can take care of him in your way and you will be happy. Otherwise you will always be sad.

You're an idiot. These women worked on careers and themselves. If they married rich successful men, they've married men who are secure enough to stand beside them, not over them!
