ZBA voted against progress
Why did the Zoning Board of Appeals turn down a good deal for Rome?
The majority of the people welcomed the idea. The company was going to renovate the building, add new additions and increase the value of the property. The company would have also provided more employment for a city that is starving for opportunities.
i find it disturbing that a company was willing to come into our city, improve a property, increase the tax base for the property and stimulate revenue for other businesses in this area and was voted down by a minority of people who are against progress.
ÄīBernard H. Carr, 405 Hickory St.
Government doesn't want private sector jobs except government jobs. Here is a fact: In case people didn't know, private sector jobs pay for government jobs....and were broke financially in government and in private sector, let a lone not enough private sector jobs.
Keep letting the fascist government lead you astray into poverty sheeple. Government is good! pfffft baaaaah sheeple baaah
Less taxes, regulations, and government intrusion into business. I'll make any government member look like a kid arguing with a adult if they try and tell me otherwise

You can't spell nor do you know what is going on. Mr. Carr has been in business over 30 years and doesn't have time to deal with people that can't even spell. Pretty sad when some low functioning child comes and knocks values.
