Ramona and the rest of the Common Council listened to those Brown Clowns about the city not taking it over and allowing business people to buy it. Instead, no business people wanted it and the state got the money selling it instead of Rome. And we wonder why Rome is going down hill and fast.

The state should turn it into a methadone clinic or an AIDS clinic for all those Heroin addicts we got in the wonderful city of Rome.Nah,just let em keep passing around the same dirty infected needle. That should take care of the epidemic.

There were "business people" who wanted it. The problem was zoning and they wouldn't bend on that. The zoning there is single family occupancy. A church is a different story and is allowed in many different zoning areas. It would have been nice to get it on the tax roles but it didn't happen.

Ramona and kimmy wanted a plan. Well now you have a non tax paying user. Mayor Fuscos plan would have solved a lot if issues within departments. Good job gals. You two remind me of the guy who lives on James st and bitches about everything. Never solutions.

Same as always. Nothing changes. Anyone remember urban renewal?
Let's destroy downtown and make way for a fort. Let's destroy all those tax paying properties

We need more drug stores on every corner... church on opposite corner.. and a bar on the other corner... on the only corner left is for the scum that are the real drug dealers. That is what is left in Rome and that's what we need more of. Rome is full of the most obese.. higher than a kite.. drunker than a skunk... biggest sinners that can go to any priest... bank robbing.... shoplifting welfare scum around!!

If it wasn't for grant money, if this city actually had to find for itself entirely, it would look like the worst area in Detroit.

What plan by fusco??????? The council asked repeatedly for a plan and received nothing!!! Without some kind of financial forecast on the the project the council had NO CHOICE but to vote it down. To be clear fusco killed this deal. It is not good business to go forward with a project this involved without SOME kind of financials. "DUH, I THINK ITS GONNA WORK,I HOPE,MAYBE" Dosent cut it when you are SPENDING LOTS OF TAXPAYER MONEY! My money, your money. The real question is WHY was no plan presented. The admin. has lots of qualified people who are able to do a basic forecast on the property. I believe a number of plans were worked on and they all came up with the same end result. It would cost to much without enough return in savings over the current locations. That is why fusco never presented a plan. The council is there to ensure OUR money is spent "wisely". With absolutely NO financial info, and nothing but "DUH, I THINK ITLL WORK", they were forced to vote the way they did. GOOD JOB. THANKS FOR WATCHING OUR MONEY!!!!

You are posting with WAY too much logic and sense for this website. Your insightful post makes no sense to the morons who have posted on this thread so far.

only certain members of the council actually care about their constituents. And Kim and Ramona aren't in that group. They are only worried about degrading our current administration. They drank the Brown cool aid.
