Come on did anyone really think Fusco was going to lay off his buddies he hired. He rather make up shit and cut the Fire and Police depatrments. That way his theiving friends won't go get caught stealing so quickly. His ass needs to be thrown out of office.

Bet you the cops and the Fire Department are sorry they believe Fusco's bullshit, and got him elected. YOU got what you deserved. Now maybe they will push for Fusco to resign and get rid of all his friends he hired off the payroll before it their jobs cut.

I cant believe that cutting the fire dept and police is even an option let alone doing it. There are other things that can be cut or reduced. police and fire is the last thing that should ever be thought about cutting, unbelieveable.

Just making sure you are aware that the approximate 25% of fine money goes to the city while remainder goes to the state. That 25% is added to the overall budget and distributed to every city department from there.

Take the exam and become a cop. Then you can change it all. Wait your felony convictions eliminate you from consideration. How come no one tells a doctor how to do their job but everyone has an opinion about how the police should do theirs.

100 grand is small potatoes in the big picture . we have a year to address the water supply mandate lol. or be fined everyday .id bet taxes up 25 percent in 2 to 4 years . newhardford settled on a all at once 28% tax raise just recently . the difference is half of rome is junk property with poor people theyl never make the payments rome will go bankrupt

The city budget shows court fees are estimated for $250,000+ revenue each year. That money is already spent before they even write the tickets. I can picture the mayor calling the chief saying we can't make our payments this month get me more "revenue". He must have cut the police budget when they weren't writing enough tickets.
