I brought my pet rabbit there because he was having a hard time walking. The vet tech said he was fine and gave him arthritis medication since he's 13. The vet tech didn't even touch him, then said she never worked with rabbits. I left, the bunny seemed to get better. A couple months ago my rabbit was having difficulty moving and breathing, so I found a rabbit specialist at beaver meadows in Barneveld. The vet said he had heart disease, and that was why earlier in the year he was having a hard time walking. Sadly I had to put him to sleep that same day. If it were Greystone they would have sent him home yo come back for another appointment to put him down. Greystone doesnt care about the animals, only the $$

I think Dr. Falk is a very good vet. They certainly don't keep help there for long though. Everytime I go there are new people.

I took my dogs there and could never find out why neutering my 5 lb puppy cost 3 times what it cost my friend to have her 60 lb puppy have the same surgery when they told me the fees were based on weight . Everytime we went for a shot the bill was at least double what my friend paid for the same visit. I asked one day for an explanation for the huge differences in what was charged to each patient and was told if I wasn't happy to go somewhere else. So now I have cats and I will not take them to this place ever.

i took my cat there and spent over $500 and they never did find out what was wrong with her. i should have gone elsewhere. to spend that much money is nuts and not know what was wrong with her.

We have always been very happy with the service at Greystone. The entire staff and Dr. Faulk truly car about our animals.

Mark was great years ago. Something changed with him when he opened Greystone. That's when I removed my animals from his care.
I am very happy with Dr. Lou @ Adirondack. He and his staff are just great people with huge hearts!
Great care

Dr. Falk has always been great with our dogs. He's caring, professional and treats them like his own. I believe if you have an issue(s) take it up with them. People claim they have these very serious issues happen the choose to post it on here and do nothing but complain here. How about growing up or growing a pair and stop bashing a place (without saying your name) and take care of it like an adult? Or is that too hard?
terrible place

I agree. Had many awful experiences there. Wouldn't refer my worst enemy there. It's a shame they don't get their act together. Awful service and care and all they are worried about is how they are going to make their next buck. Could care less about the animals or the customers.

They sure are busy though. In looking for a vet closer to home, I walked in and walked out. Staff and atmosphere not for me.

The best vets are the married couple in Westmoreland on Rt. 233. Great people and great service. I changed from Graystone to them because the service was better

I took my animals to Mark Falk at Rome Animal Hospital and was very happy with the care he gave them. I followed him when he bought the Greystone bldg. and it was fine for a while.

I seriously feel that his b$itch of a wife Ramona is a bipolar drunk control freak!!!!! I witnessed her her nastiness on a few occasions and thought WOW, if she's that bad to the employees and paying customers, HOW MIGHT SHE BE TREATING OUR ANIMALS???

I had enough of her attitude and abusiveness so I took my animals to another area vet whom I shall not name. Don't want people to think I'm trashing Greystone to promote another business.

Anyway, just came across this thread and it's sad to see that Ramona has gotten even WORSE in the past few years. Mark, I hope you're reading this. It's time to get her serious help.
just curious

Does anyone know if Dr. Falk is back? Last week there was another vet in his place.
