The second year of his term is well underway and the city top leader showed off his pride last week as he congratulated the Subway Sub shop on East Dominick Street for forty years of business.
Countless Chamber members stood in line to commemorate the day along with the mayor.
"I knowed this shop would survive cause I eat here all the time. This is true economic development and I'm proud to offer this here proclamation today".

The city has seen businesses throughout the city close and more homes for sale listed now more than ever. Little incentives to remain in Rome or open new shops to open but the mayor refuses to admit a losing streak.
"if everybody would just look at me, I plow snow, rent out houses to poor people and moved in with my aunt to save money. We all just need to learn to be creative. There's ways to grow our city if we just use our heads".

" today I made a deal with one union and gave them some money to spend. That should have a ripple effect and Rome should see some money in their cash registers real soon. It just took me a little adjustment period to get the hang of this here system".

Are you talking "Bucky's? Well yea Joe is in there. They are also big campaign supporter of Joe's what you think he is in there because he cares about the business? No he is just repaying the favors. Get serious. Joe does not do anything that does not benefit him.

I do not dis-agree with Healer. I was just saying Joe is not going to do anything that does not have a direct effect on him. Just like his little meetings at the Kettle. Why would any business person want to meet there is beyond me. Is that not what city hall is for?

and to Hoffa That is not Frankor. If it was he would see it on the side bar. One thing about Frank he is not afraid to let people know it is him saying it. Not like some who spend all day on here posting under different screen names. Right RON, JOE, and the munch butt in city hall.

The economic development Fusco knows is how much money he can stuff in his pocket, and give to his friends under the table.
