The building in Rome is going to be used to manufacture cell phones. The owners were made a really big offer. I'll miss Friendly's.

Is there some sort of law stating that he can't own a restaurant as well as an insurance office? And why the name calling? It detracts from whatever point you are trying to make.

That's unlikely. That would bring in a number of good, technical, high-paying jobs. The Locals would never stand for that sort of success.

Hey Moron look across the street...Guess who owns all of that correct Nat Filipini. You think there is a law stating that he can't (he already does) have a restaurant and be an insurance agent? His son is fantastic cook !! You never tried the Garage,s food? I am calling it the way it is when you make a stupid claim like that AGAINST MY FAMILY I will blast you with both. My relatives are laughing at your post and they said come over and try a slice at the restaurant across the street THAT NAT HAS OWNED FOR SEVERAL YEARS.

It does not matter what Filipini owns across the street. For the record he owns an insurance company across the street. He does not own a restaurant and he's not going to all of a sudden switch from insurance to flipping burgers. Just not going to happen. I suppose you think he's going to put a kitchen in his insurance office.

What stupid claim? I asked if there was a law stating he couldn't do both. Of COURSE there's no such law! He can own an insurance company, a restaurant, a petting zoo and a submarine if he has the time, energy and money to manage all of it. Jeez! Some people.

Now, take the chip off your shoulder and try reading the post again. Without the snark, for a change.

I guess I understand your point. I just get confused. One minute we are talking about an insurance agent and the next we're talking about a restaurant. Now you're bringing up a petting zoo and a submarine. I can't keep up although I try very hard to do so.

It's all good, friend. The point was that ANY American can own, manage or be involved with as many interests as he can successfully manage - there is no law which would not bind Mr. Fillipini to only his insurance business.
