Is this lawsuit the reason Rodmill has not opened? What is it all about anyhow? Will Rodmill ever open again for a flea market?

Look the same idiot still posting, he is unable to use any sentence structure. He is in special education class and only know fragmented comments. Take Ritalin, collect SSI and take mini bus to school.

Some do care apparently. I personally would like to see the Flea/Vendors Market open in this area. Hey it is a giant garage sale, inside, not out in the rain and is certainly not trying to be a store. Look at some of the garage sales, they are dumps too. Individual garage sales don't have codes choking the life blood out of them. But they do have the disadvantage of the buyers having to drive all around town and outside areas. Give me a covered place to shop and I am there.

The owner is suing the city because certain people in the city abused and misused their authority to shut him down. Long story short Fusco used codes to put the screws to the owner because of a vendetta Fusco has against the owner of the Rod Mill. In particular he use codes, and the fire inspector to make sure he got shut down. The owner did everything codes and fire department cited him for, but Fusco refused to accept the repairs as good enough. So Fuckonut kept screwing with him until the owner had enough. The people involved are going to get their nuts removed because the owner has proof, and documents showing who did what and why.

so when might this conflict end? Will Rodmill get a permit to open or is Codes going to keep them shut down. What about the piles of stone that the city was supposed to have had removed and leveled by LAST September?

Replaced with huge piles of crushed rubble.
Granted it does look better but still looks like a construction site.

if the owner didn't have CODE write up, he would be open! He got caught & is now crying a river! too bad, keep your place up to codes & you don't have to worry!

This post is so sad its ALMOST not worth responding to, but, what if the codes people were WRONG. You probably think that every ticket that the police write is not to be challenged either. Like landowners municipalities have laws that have to be followed. I dont care about this landowner. If he did something wrong then he should correct it. I do think the simplistic tone in your post is frightening. Government, like any other part of life, is not a perfect place. To lay down and take whatever is handed you is DANGEROUS. If a citizen feels they have been wronged it is their obligation to stand up for themselves and ultimately for the rest of us.
