While buying coffee this morning at the Citgo on Erie blvd I overheard the clerks and a beer salesman talking about the store selling beer on tap soon . This is the first I have heard about this. Is it just me or is this a bad idea?

You won't be able to go in there and fill up a paper cup with beer. You'll have to buy a gallon growler and theyll fill it up for you. They put a paper seal on the cap so you won't get an open container ticket from the cops. I heard they already are doing it in boonville.

Wow what a classy joint, fountain beer. I hate nice and sleazy. When I was younger I applied to all the nice and easy's in the county.I must have applied 15 times. Not even 1 call or interview. I refuse to shop there. Their expensive anyways and the owner John Mc Fagal meets with the local Fastrack onwner and they go on little dates and walk arond the stores chatting what a loser the guy needs a kick in the teeth

I guess they should stick with selling 40 oz bottles of malt liquor. That's class.

It won't come out of a fountain. It'll be a tap. You know the same way bars have been pouring beer for years. This isnt a new concept.

I highly doubt it will be miller or bud its going to be speciality craft beer. Bars have offered growlers for a long time.

You were probably to "straight-laced" for convenience store work. Nobody wants to buy gas, booze, cigarettes, or short order munchies from someone who think owners/managers/salesmen discussing selling strategies need kicks in the teeth. You are better working at a post office, bank, or maybe a local law office. The moneys better, but you won't ever experience a diverse customer clientele.
