Rarely do you see anyone charging up an electric car at these stations. There are nine of them located around the City Hall in Rome, but Mayor Joseph Fusco says he's only seen one vehicle plugged into a charging station, and that was last summer. The stations were installed during the prior administration.

"I think it was an experimental type of thing, we may have put in more than we should have. But again, when you get one of those grants from up above, let's spend the money regardless of whether it's going to accomplish it or not," Fusco told CNY Central's Jim Kenyon.

Joe, please stop moving the city backwards, This is called the future. Why wouldn't you just see one electric car charging last summer? You're never at City Hall. Your hatred from Brown is killing you, isn't it? The best thing you can do for yourself is to stop talking to the media. You sound dumber and dumber as the weeks go on. Just try to enjoy your last couple of years and welcome back Jim Brown next election. You can't stop the inevitable and when he is re-elected, you only have yourself to blame. Remember that.

That was a Brown folly and a huge waste of taxpayers money. It is not the future in the City of Rome. Look outside, 20 degrees and snowing. Electric cars won't work here. Matter of fact, they don't work anywhere. To imagine anyone thinking this would be the future here is a joke.

Fusco may be a blockhead, but don't blame him for being right on this one.

Neither of them will be reelected. Take that to the bank.
