I hurt my knee and was referred to him to be my orthopedic. I'm just curious as to know what types of experiences people have had with him. I've heard some good and some bad. Anyone care to share?

Don't do it. Nice guy nothing personal but first thing he will do is put his hand where the pain is and push. Go to Zahn in Hamilton, SRS clinic in Syracuse, or even Raffi in Rome. Jmho...

Nice guy, but lacks knowledge. He couldn't diagnose my Achilles tear. Go to Dr Meeks at Hamilton orthopedic.

Don't do it! This guy is so rough and he will BS through every question you have. I was pregnant and he started asking me if he and his wife could adopt my baby! Very strange little guy. I would look for someone OUTSIDE of Rome. Good luck.

As you can see any name will draw this attention. He has done two surgeries on me and both were very extensive ortho surgeries. He was great. Great guy and great doc. Hes board certified which says a lot

Board certified means he passed one more test. It doesn't mean much. It's really just a way for the specialty board to collect money. Reputation, complication rate are where to look. Truth is, find out who other doctors go to.

I'm one and that's what I do.

He scoped my knee and did a terrific job. I went to him for a back injury, and he properly referred me to a spine surgeon when he realized it was beyond his areas of expertise. He referred me to HIS doctor. I am satisfied with him.

December 29 2009 he fixed my fractured left patella (split in half) and within 2 months I was running, jogging and lifting like nothing had ever happened, though he has such a peculiar personality some people would not agree with, he does do great work.

Unfortunately, 7 months later in boston I was in a near fatal accident and fractured both patellas along with my neck back hand and skull. I can't help feeling he is upset with me for this after being referred back to him for problems with the patella he fixed prior to my accident. So I have mixed fellings about him since it was not my fault and he should realize this.

You have to check around and ask a lot of questions like your doing now and go with whom ever you feel comfortable with.
