Its funny that after he successfully fulfills his role as the good little tool that he is, he is trying to find a place for slaughterhouses to operate in Rome. Odds are that some one with the right "ties" will be trying to open one.

The Locals are just fearing that finally an industry will start up in Rome that they will qualify for as workers. After all, who wants to work when the free checks are rolling in?/

About a year after it opens people throughout the city will be complaining about it. Why? Because they bring nothing but trouble in every town they operate in. Anybody reading this who disagrees don't say you weren't warned.

citys like gardening should rotate their areas like farmers rotate crops.

OLd house areas should be torn down rebuilt , relocated to more residential areas or new undeveloped areas . Houses r too close should at least be thinned out everyone deservers a back yard.

Tell me,.. How will a slaughterhouse that brings in 600 live breathing mooing cows a day to kill them and cut them into pieces for people's eating pleasure,..HOW will that be cleaner then my kitchen? There will be odors, there will be bacteria, there will be blood and guts going into the sweet systems. Outskirts is perfect,..but right smack dab in the city where kids play and people live,... I say no way. Home values will go down with a doubt.

Folks Mark doesn't do anything without being instructed by someone above him on the food chain! This is a fact and I'm not defending Mark one bit!! City hall wants this to happen!

I believe you are correct. It is a shame we have this type of behavior in such an important position. Today he said that he gives between 1100-1400 demo permits a year. I think that works out to about 5 a day, EVERY DAY, seems a bit high. Integrity appears to be lacking.

Of course city hall wants it genius, Fusco co-sponsored the legislation. But in our system of government this is a decision that only the Common Council can make. They are the rule making body and they can pass or defeat any legislation presented to them.

people are brainless... These people put millions into every city they enter providing jobs, charity's and a well operated business. Rome is HUGE, THERE ARE NUMEROUS LOCATIONS AROUND ROME FOR A SLAUGHTERHOUSE THAT WOULDNT JNTERFERE WITH THE WELFARE KIDS.
1. griffins Air Force base is huge and already has many factories. Would be best for city economically.
2. South James street and corner of route 365 or right across the street at the old prison?, I didn't think the 6 people who live over there could care that much. U stinky Romans would never see or hear the traffic like u complained.
3. Success drive? Across the street from Walmart in any of those abandon buildings (the old rite aide distribution) omg Romans a vacant building replaced.?
4. Anywhere on Erie blvd by felice
5 east Dominick in 1212 east hahahahaha

How about right next door to Fusco, or one of the uncommon council member's house? Let THEM smell the fruits of their labors along with the gangs and crime that come with every slaughterhouse in every city, instead of making someone else do it?
