Right. The poor economy makes it perfectly alright to manufacture and sell drugs. Get off it. There are still plenty of ways to make a living that do NOT involve criminal activity, especially drugs. With the amount of entrepreneurial skill that most people put into cooking meth you could start your own business in nearly any trade and make money at it.

Can't disagree with that but it still doesn't mean that cooking meth is their only option as the previous poster stated. Definitely doesn't make it alright, either.

It's people like Roman who are the problem with Topix. This site started out as a good idea. But it's so overrun with ignorance and Trolls now that it's just turned into a slam fest.

"Get off the bath salts." When are we going to hear the end of that lame insult.

I'm so wounded, Roman, really. I don't even know why I'm bothering to address you other than I hate to let trolls have the last word.

Oh, and I know your next response that has already come to your mind, your retort of "Just cause you keep callin people trolls dont make it true!"

Well, in your case the shoe fits there, Cinderella, so put it on and enjoy the comfort.

And to those of you intelligent enough to realize that Roman is a moron, let me point out that he is merely doing his usual and putting words out there that I myself never said.

My initial responses, to which he is referring in his troll-like way, never mentioned people out of prison.

My responses were about the poster who blames meth-labs on "the economy." Notice that they never mentioned anything about prison ... they mentioned only the economy.

My point is that I'm sick (and I'm sure many others are) of dirt bags blaming their crimes on mommy, daddy, society and the economy.

If you want money, do what the rest of us do, earn it legally. Go get a job. If you don't like minimum wage, too bad. Start there and work your way up like everyone else had to.

Otherwise work a couple of jobs, or put your entrepreneurial skills to better use and start a legitimate business.

Save some money and go to school, even someone half-broke can afford a trade school like BOCES. Learn carpentry, electronics, auto repair, whatever you want, then move out of the state to where there is higher demand.

It's a narrow minded opinion that people like Roman state, and it's obvious that even if he doesn't consider himself a troll, he's behaving exactly like one. No matter what topic you go to, you read his comments and you'll find that regardless of how well thought out people's opinions and statements are, he will contradict them and add things they never said. He will respond by including (as he did with me here) retorts to things you did not say, in hopes he can make you look bad.

That, my friends, is a troll.

You know, we with intelligent and educated comments and input could take back Topix if we only ignored the trolls and responded strictly to the comments that make some real sense. Eventually they'd have little choice but to give up.

It's the fact that they manage to get a rise and get under people's skin that keeps them coming back for more. It should be apparent by now that most of them are only doing this because they are small minded people with miserable lives and the only way they can inflate their ego and sense of self-worth is by trying desperately to undermine that of others.

Good luck to them in my case, because I'm a very confident man. I have a thicker skin than they'd like. No matter how many times they insult me I just keep on being me and I think it really bothers them terribly.

Frank that means someone gave them a heads up that the cops were coming and they booked. These people have people watching for them, and they even have a scanner to listen in on the cops. Often times if you took that road during this past summer, there is two or three people off in those bushes near the creek. Then there is two other ones. One sits by Aces at the back of the motel. I see the same people a man and or a women sitting there this past summer, and there is another guy or girl sitting on the end of the road near the old Mazzaferro's. Each time one is always looking or talking on a cell phone. They have been in and out of those bushes everytime I have drove by with one of them with a shopping cart of crap, and a nasty looking girl or guy standing on the side of the bridge. Didn't realize what they were doing, I figured they were fishing. Guess now I know what they were up to.

I agree. We are seeing increases in synthetically produced drugs and other cheaply produced drugs that provide quick profits because the economy today has created the opportunity for people to sponge off the lives of those who desperately need a fix to ignore the deplorable realities of their lives.

Talk to Robert Joanis, he knows about this well. The Lab Belonged to Rick his friend. He has helped him cook it before but this is Ricks Lab. Rick is in Jail now for a Punch of Small Charges. Rob Should be easy enough to find! True Story!
