Just Wondering

I just read an interesting letter to the Editor in tonight's Rome Rag. A person had their car damaged by a snowplow, and the city has refused to pay for the damages. I found this interesting because it was not to long ago where the city paid out for damages a plow caused one Brad Taylor's houses. I don't remember the exact amount, but it would seem to me something is not quite right here. If you pay out because a plow damaged a house why are they refusing to pay out for hitting some ones car by saying they are not libel? It would appear to me that if you are Buds with Fuckonut, you get paid, while others have to grin and bear it. Maybe we all should become Buds with Fusconut and get some of that free money he keeps passing out to his friends.

Exactly the reason why NYC privatized snowplowing just a few years ago and now its a lot better and cheaper. Privatization is the answer for for government services

The city is self insured under municipal rules, their SOP, that's standard operating procedure for the num nuts that follow TOPIX, of course their going to deny the claim, force you to sue them, waste everyone's time and money, then cut a deal and pay. The truck driver stopped, called the police, filled out the report, it's all cut and dry. Now it's time to play the Dog and Pony show in city court. Where the justice doesn't always come out Just !!!! If I was Tony T. I'd bring some KY jelly to that courtroom!!

Hey what part of parking legally do you not understand?. When it happened the man was legally parked in front of his house, and there was no ban on parking. The city screwed up, and they should pay for it. If Fucko and his buddies can trump up crap and get paid as well as get hired to sit on their ass. Whats the problem. The taxpayers are paying for it anyway with numb nuts in there working for the city.
