When Jesus gave his life for us he paid the ultimate price for our sins.Hey Frustrated, in regards to your "Sunday Christian" comment you are absolutely right. This can be taken in two different ways though. What are your views on a "works salvation"?
This act, in turn, ended our need for religion and works.
We cannot earn our way into Heaven because no one is good according to the Father's standards.
True Christians are justified based on the works of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Once TRULY saved we are filled with the Holy Spirit and bare good fruit due to God working through us. They are his works, not ours, to put it simply..
The unsaved bare bad fruit.
If you live a life outside of Christ you live in obitual sin.
Saved Christians sin, but the proof of their salvation is true a repentance.
Being a Christian is a complete surrender to the Lord, not engaging in religious practices such as works.
So, what are your views Mr. Christian Fellow?
