He is smart, seasoned in Rome city affairs and a true talent. It would be far better than what we have now.

Really? When is the last time he was involved with City affairs? He spends more time designing for his housing development than anything.

NO.

4 More Years. Just like Nixon.

NO one will question the Mayor's decision to extend his own term by 2x, after NObama's 1st 5-yr Plan is Revealed to the NOmasses.

The way codes is run leaves much room for improvement. There seems to be an abundance of "pick and choose" enforcement going on. The old Woodhaven site is a good example. The majority of those units are not sealed up as per NYS code. WHY? The TAXPAYERS TAXPAYERS TAXPAYERS paid many thousands of dollars for the codes agents to check each structure. THOUSANDS OF VIOLATIONS were found. Then the TAXPAYERS TAXPAYERS TAXPAYERS paid to HAVE IT DONE AGAIN! The end result is, as reported to the media, the city is seeking judicial relief to raise a few units. It seems pointless to leave over ONE HUNDRED CRUMBLING UNITS STAND, only to raise a few. Why is the owner not be forced to seal up these units. If any one of those crumbling units stood alone on any other street in the city the codes dept would rightfully be all over the property owner. This complex attracts many vagrants and druggies to the area. This complex is a first responders nightmare. WHY IS THIS LANDOWNER BEING TREATED DIFFERENTLY. There are a number of situations, while not as dramatic as this, around the city. It appears that some people are above law. LOTS OF "PICK AND CHOOSE". Doesnt the CHIEF CODES OFFICER oversee all of these actions. Time for a change. Certainly NOT mayor material.
