To the dirty scumbag who stole my wallet while I was shopping Saturday night for my family, right out of my purse-die. What kind of a person are you. Rest easy knowing that you took my hard earned money right from my children. Do you feel good spending that money? Knowing that you are taking food from my children's mouth & clothes off their back? Knowing you have now ruined our whole family's summer vacation? I worked so hard to earn that money to be able to pay for my groceries & to take my kids camping. I hope you get hit by a bus & die.

Ummm, I was grocery shopping idiot! How do you pay for groceries???!!!??? An EBT catd? sorry i work so i have to pay for my groceries! And I did report it. The cops came. FYI, Walmart doesn't care. Their security systems are to protect themselves, not customers. The cops said someone walked out of walmart with 2 flat screens & their cameras suck so bad they wont catch them. And I'm on here bc I was told by the cops there in nothing I can do. I'm figuring if the scumbag has nothing better to do than steal a young hard working mothers wallet right out of their purse, they will probably have nothing better to do than sit on here. And using a robbery as an excuse? Oh yeah, I'd love to have to file for a new drivers license. As well as all new bank cards. And insurance cards for my kids. And all my shoppers loyalty cards. Shut up brien Moore bc you are an idiot.

Do you have a description of the dirtbag? Also contact your homeowners or rental insurance company they may cover some of your loss. And keep checking the free credit report sites online someone may try to use your ID to open accounts in your name. Good luck.

Is this really the original poster? Just wondering. If they did not find it,I had a suggestion. My mother got her purse stolen out of her cart a couple years ago. They found it in the women's bathroom. The money was gone but everything else was there. I know how hard it is to get all that stuff replaced, especially when you work for a living. The scumbag even found a Canadian dollar that my mother had tucked away since her honeymoon 60 years ago. These scumbags don't care about anything but themselves. Good luck.

I am sorry this happened to you but we need to be proactive! A month or so ago, I approached a woman in Walmart who was bent over the meats, about 4 or 5 feet away from her grocery cart. Her OPEN handbag with her wallet in plain sight was sitting in the child carrier area of the cart. I told her she might want to close her purse as someone I knew had been robbed the same way. It happens all the time, this is not a new thing. Be proactive. I carry a purse in the grocery store...under my arm and closed. If I am wheeling my cart with my purse sitting in the child seat, then the strap is wrapped around my arm securely. Never walk away from your cart and leave your purse! People are robbed this way all the time.

This is the original poster. It was found, everything still in it. Beyond thankful to have it back. Beyond just the money, I had gift cards from my baby shower, bank cards, etc. very thankful. And I DID NOT post that horrible racist comment above!!!

I buckle in my purse with the baby straps in the cart. Also I put either a jacket or grocery's on top of the purse. If they do try to grab my purse the whole cart will be pulled.

Glad you got your wallet back. Next time make sure it's not unsecured.

And, in my experience, Walmart does indeed care about customers. I once overlooked something in my cart when loading my car, and drove off. When I was walking in the door at home, the phone was ringing. It was one of the Customer Service associates. She told me that they had seen me leave that item, were able to identify me, and that the item was at the desk awaiting my stopping by to pick it up.
