Fifteen bucks an hour (if what you say is true) is better than being on the dole. At least it is for anyone with any self-esteem.

If you think living on the dole is preferable to honest pay for honest work, then YOU are the loser. And you might take note of the proper spelling, since the word is likely a big percentage of your vocabulary.

This depends on the position. There are a lot of skilled positions that do pay more than $15/hr, but even still you can graduate from A&P school and go up the road to Midair who starts you out higher. Also many of these positions are recruited from across the country, so its not necessarily good for the unemployed people locally
As for unskilled {stores clerks, data entry, etc}, they don't pay that great. Rite-Aid distribution used to pay more. Also their hours are strange, constantly changing, and the workers have very little say. The organization of this place needs lots of improvement. It doesn't matter weather you work in an office or on the planes, they will have to running around like a retarded chicken from one task to another before you get any of them done.
While I still have high hopes that this place takes off, I am still not optimistic. I am guessing this contract with Air Canada will be just like the other ones Premier Aviation gets. The work will go to Montreal, and the overflow work will trickle into Rome.
