Please help us and do whats right. This issue is just one of many that screams impropriety. Some of you have been more vocal then others. We recognize and appreciate your efforts. You did a great job fixing the last budget. I expect you will be doing the same shortly. Im sure you are aware of MANY more poorly handled, if handled at all, issues before the mayor. Lost grant monies etc. You are our only line of defense against this wave of decay and stagnation engulfing our city. Please but other affiliations aside and become more vocal and more pro progress and ACCOUNTABILITY. It seems that we have 2 more years to suffer through. Your VOICES and INFLUENCE are all we have in that time. Thank you.
Since the Council does not give adequate time to protest such actions, the proposal was passed. It is a shame!
Only one person spoke at that Council meeting but the council had prepared how they were going to vote prior to the meeting, as they do with everything on the agenda.

they bought the house on the corner of Madison and ridge also there is going to be a huge parking lot . what good is a mill without parking ? they rent the other corner for parking also there isn't enough. the old rome cable office bldg. is rented also they need the lot in between for that . the rent from the mill will pay for the lot stupid heads.keeping the mill going and the jobs there may not make sense to some people but its not going anywhere the rent will keep coming in . the city improved its own property instead of buying flowers.
