as it stands, at this time, swavely still holds the position and is preparing for the upcoming season. I think the board gave him one last chance to prove himself, without much wriggle room.

Why is everybody blaming Swave, you can't make chicken soup out of chicken poop! wake up, we are a town with less then 35,0000 people. When the base was here they brought some good athletes/students with them. We had over 60,000 people then and the town was thriving. Along with that the mills were going strong and the economy was flush. Look around and see what we have been left with. Be happy someone as dedicated as Swave would bother to put this much time and energy into trying to beat a dead horse. Do you think he's doing it for the money? Break down what he makes and the time and grief he puts up with from John Q , the players and community are lucky to have him.

Those played out excuses didn't work before and they sure as heck don't work now. The base has been gone a long time, stop using it as an excuse. There are actually a ton of talented kids at RFA who just won't play for a coach who doesn't know what he's doing. Just look at the guy! he is a sloppy mess. Why should they stick their necks out and risk getting hurt for a whole lot of nothing? They are better off playing other sports and getting something out of it. Its pretty simple.

There are No good athletes anymore, for any sport, including hockey!! Very sad to see how little skill there is around!! On the radio today, for the hockey game the announcers were even saying how bad the level of play was!! So really you cannot blame the coachs anymore, there is no more talent , like there used to be! If people can't see that, you know nothing about what an athlete is.
