People were all pushing and shoving. A riot broke out over some cheap discounted items. A woman was trampled and EMT's had taken at least 30 minutes to respond. One sheriff on the scene. I was there it was horrible. I hope she is ok.

Crazy.

I guess I'm not much of a shopper. Can't see the thrill of waiting in the cold, all the pushing and shoving, just to save a few bucks on some gizmo I don't really need.

But I suppose, if that's what you like to do....I'll see you on the news!

That is the only way to handle it. Let them trample each other. Of course the EMT took their time. Who wants to show up in the middle of a Riot to help a bunch of swarming idiots?

ROME — Two women were transported to a local hospital and a man was arrested following a fight that broke out shortly after shoppers were allowed into the Rome WalMart this morning.

Several shoppers began to fight in the electronics section at the WalMart, on Rome Taberg Road, less than five minutes after the doors were opened, according to Oneida County Sheriff's deputies.

Laurie Underwood, of Rome was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital to be treated for pain in her left side and lower back. Melinda Wishart, of Rome, was also transported to the hospital with lower back pain after a fall.

Robert Perry, of Rome, was arrested for disorderly conduct, deputies said.

Police are still investigating and future charges are pending.

There was a woman that was complaining that her hair got pulled. It just seemed very jumbled and unorganized. And walmart is probably going to suffer the consequences. But I'm sure they are use to getting sued on the regular though.

The smell of turkey farts at Wal-Mart is driving customers out the door. Many customers are blaming the cashiers.

her foot got stuck in the opening of the pallet after she was pushed. your mom unfortunately did not have a chance after that. i am sorry she got hurt. someone i know was right there trying to help her and alerted the employees she was down. that person got pushed too. its all on wally marts video if it hasn't mysteriously disappeared yet.
