Hanna investments in shale-drilling firms questioned

"As of his 2008 House financial disclosure filing, Republican congressional challenger Richard Hanna had investments valued at $750,000 to $1.5 million in two companies that could play a major role if plans to drill for natural gas in the Marcellus Shale region south of Utica move forward" OD

I encourage everyone to really understand fracking and research it for yourself and not listen to environmental bozos who watched Gasland, which was based on complete lies.

Thank you.

^^ offers no alternative science. bravo. also you'll be the first person in line bitching about brain cancer after your water supply is completely poisoned. More CNY ignorance until they become the victim, then their toxicity changes course once again. sickening really.

Oh you are soooo right. BP, Exxon, and Haliburton always have the people's best interest at heart and would never ever put out propaganda sites like that one dispelling "rumors". People are just always making up rumors about their hair falling out and animals getting sick on their farms.

can't wait to see you in chemo.

I think your tin foil hat is fitting a little too tight.

Multiple sources have punched holes into the anti-fracking industry. But I bet they are all working for the MULTINATIONALCORPORATIONBUSHKO CHBROTHERTEAPARTYRACISTHOMOPHO BE lobby, right?

Smoke another joint.

Something to take into consideration is the fact that oil, and gas companies are the second leading revenue contributors to the federal gov't. 2nd only to the I.R.S. If you like a beautiful view, if you like clean water for you, I , our children, and grand children, and if you like access to the great outdoors. You won't like fracking. Corporations are obligated to produce profits for their share holders! In other words they need more product to sell oversees. We will never see a dime of that money, and our quality of life will be diminished. The only winners are the investors (congressman Richard Hanna), The companies, and the Federal gov't. WE LOSE!!

I guess maybe you anti everything people don't heat your house, drive a car, cook your food or use electricity, GET REAL. I guess it's ok if it is done in Alaska or Texas but not here. These are products that we all use every day. If you don't like what is going on then start a boycott of these gas and oil products instead of running your mouth, I bet that will never happen. I would also bet that you don't even own any land, and as usual with you people you are trying to control other people and their property.
Go out and buy four or five hundred acres of land, pay the outrageous taxes like I have for about thirty years, then come back and talk about property rights, logging, fracking etc. Until then shut up.

Anti everything? Absolutely Not! Heat the house, drive the car, cook the food, use electricity? Of course. As far as Alaska goes. The Exxon Valdese Oil spill that occurred in Alaska was one of the largest man made environmental disasters in history. Possibly 2nd only to the deep water horizon explosion, and oil spill in the gulf. With that said. The people of Alaska, and the gulf may disagree with you're logic. Which is still having a negative affect on the gulf, and will for years. If not generations to come! Texas has been led by some of the most cynical, and self serving men who have ever walked the earth! Men who own "4, or 500 acres of land" which is enough for them since they can't show their faces in public anyway. Most of us depend on state, and farm land, as well as the numerous waterways that we currently have access to for recreation, connection to nature and our ONE, and only earth. Not to mention food production. For the people who blame the "Do gooders, Environmentalists" Imagine how things would look with out them. Believe it, or not Gov't was set up to slow progress. However when it comes to gas, oil, and exploiting resources the share holders. Not the common man say full speed ahead.

New England has more underground water springs in the USA and you want to drill holes deep into the earth and pour chemical in it to wash shall to get gas and your telling me that that won't poison our water. Please take a ride throught Pa, drive off the beaten path open your eyes , those large blue containers with water in them was not what they thought would happen with fracking
