Still haven't heard a word. The victim and their families want justice! The First 48 hours has long past and every subsequent day makes the likelihood of these scumbags getting caught. Not to mention the poor innocent 11 year old girl that was shot in the neck what a year ago, still unsolved. Time to call in the FBI or something RPD just doesn't have the knowledge or resources to handle this investigation. In the meantime one or more cold blooded killers is on the loose!

They found out the thugs do nothing but take our money and liberties. You read about the people who got shot and killed across the street from the police station in Chicago? police are no help but revenue agents for the state and protectors of the state, not the people.

Hi, Dear "Both". Not to interrupt your regularly scheduled fantasy playtime, but no. It's the Rome POLICE that need to watch more television, tune into a nice black and white Keystone Cops comedy re-run, stock up on coffee and donuts, sit in their Lazyboy easy chair they paid for with money they never once earned from the taxpayers, and, umm, you know, LEARN HOW TO SOLVE MURDERS OR SOMETHING.

Don't be stupid, now. If somebody could murder two victims allegedly involved in drugs, they could easily kill everyday folks like the previous posters you chastised, me, our loved ones, and what the hell, maybe even you. You may think the two murder victims had it coming because of their purported connection to drugs. But they are still human beings, and their deaths did in fact affect not just the safety and confidence of Rome residents, but it also affected their loved ones, who did nothing to deserve this. And not to mention, the murderers are still on the loose, and are probably answering phones in India by now for Verizon Wireless.

Just the Facts, Ma'am: The Rome Police Department have a looooong history of only getting on the case if some higher authority or the media embarrass them or light a very, very hot fire under their anuses. They can, however, forge a mean traffic ticket. A tip of my hat to them for their highly-trained skills.

And "Protect and Serve"? What the Hell is THAT to lazy, dangerously indifferent, crooked cops? Some new type of breakfast sausage?

And we BOTH know it's true. Swallow THAT sausage, boy.

You should all just start packing heat, 24/7 - soon, we would see no more of these useless threads, more "roboblogger" entries about senseless shootings in Rome, and maybe, just maybe, the Justice Dept. would come in, oversee the RPD & turn the whole place into another Feeb-controlled town & then you could really post some "we done it now!" bullshit.

Good reason to put up a fence around the place & turn it into the first of many FEMA concentration camps for all you diehard constitutionalist smegwads so's they can get an emergency order rammed through congress proclaiming obama president for life, just like idi amin from uganda, cooking opponent's babies in a big iron pot, then open the borders for foreign terror squads disguised as day laborers, domestics, & students, then doesn't confiscate their automatic weapons hidden in so many container loads of decorative crap & GNP-sucking balance of trade violations, so what's the use of a permit anyway?
