How many kids were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan since President Obama took office? He promised to end this war instead he talks about ending the war in Iraq and he is expanding the war in Afghanistan. Our kids are getting killed for what? They are releasing the terrorists which will mean more attacks on our soldiers and possibly in this country. Our soldiers are brave and young and they are making this ultimate sacrifice. We must protect them.

Please keep all of our men and women in your thoughts!

Juan - instead of complaining do something proactive...send our soldiers some words of encouragement or some calling cards so they can speak with their families, let them know that they are safe for the moment, as they are protecting your freedoms.

I've sacrificed my career and a normal life so my husband can project your scrawny and probably fat a$$.

Where is the daily body count since Obama took over. The media outlets always lead off the news with the body count under Bush. Where's the fairness here? Obamaphytes will say they were Bush's wars but since January 20, 2009 they are Obama's wars. Come on media, where's the unbiased reporting?

France - 3,200
Italy - 2,850
Canada - 2,830
Poland - 1,990
Netherlands - 1,770
Australia - 1,490
Romania - 860
Bulgaria - 820
Spain - 780
Denmark - 700
Turkey - 660
Belgium - 650
Norway - 588
Czech Republic - 580

So much for your BS!

Be at peace my fellow soldiers. You will never be forgotten!

Army wife I agree with you totally, as a Army mom, these soldiers put their lives on the line so that others may sit and complain about things.

Juan, for a history lesson, Afghanistan is where this all started. We assisted the Taliban against the Russians and then pulled out and let them be slaughtered. Guess what they have long memories, look at the twin towers and you will see what happens. We cannot just pull out without making sure the government can support itself against invasion or we will make more enemies and potential terrorists.

Terrorists are created by ignorance, we need to help educate the people of Afghanistan and Iraq and enable them to stand on their own.

Bush used to quote the same type of stats when talking about Iraq. Spain, UK, Poland etc all had troops there...

They should all come home and we should stop meddling in other countries affairs.

The media is a puppet for the democrat-republican regime. They will start quoting the head count if Obama is unpopular in 2 years so a Republican can take his place and continue his policies of state expansion.

Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same coin.

Not unexpectedly though, some European countries are doing more than others and it's not always the "usual suspects". E.g., the Germans are basically restricted to a passive role in the quieter areas of the country.

Dozens of soldiers and hundreds of people have been killed under Obama's watch.

Why has Obama continued the war in Iraq and Afghanistan where countless innocent women and children have been killed?

Obama lied, people died.

I had to search to the bottom of the page to find this article. If I go to other large newspapers, the release is not even online yet. These brave soldiers gave their lives, and the story is hidden. It's frustrating that more attention is not given. If you're a father out there, Happy Father's Day, and give an extra hug to your kids for all those deployed fathers who aren't able to do so in person.

The following is for Capitalist too -

It is not Bush's war nor Obama's war, it is OUR war. Most of those in Congress voted for this. You elected these individuals to represent you. Our soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, and coastguard men are out there protecting YOUR lives from people who really, really do not like any of us who oppose their ideas of religion, and government. They would prefer you dead. They do not care if your a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, or any other political philosophy except their own. Get it? No I doubt it very very much. Your blind to your own agenda.

To my follow brothers-in-arms Thanks for your work, and sacrifice

As the mom of two deployed sons, I just wish I would see and hear more gratitude from Americans. Where's the support? Many of you have absolutely no clue the sacrifice these soldiers make, as well as their families. Try supporting rather than criticizing. If you come across someone who's serving in the armed forces, why don't you go up to them, shake their hand and thank them. So often they are forgotten...remember that they are protecting the freedom that YOU experience. And for the braves Army wives out there - I applaud you and thank you. Yours is not an easy road either. God bless our military families and God protect our troops!

I find it utterly amazing that people expect Obama to have walked into office and fixed everything overnight. The wars, the economy... have you all forget the disheveled mess he's been given?
As of today, July 11th, the man has not even been in office a full 6 months & you expect what? Come on. Get real.
We all want our soldiers back home. We support them and pray for their safe return. But those of you who thought Obama was going to step into office on 1/20/09 and instantly call all the troops back to the US... those of you who thought ANY elected president would have been able to walk in there and INSTANTLY call all the troops back home are being more than just a bit naive.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
