According to the front page story in the DTN, the Gooch has filed Wrongful Death Law Suit in Northern District Court. But, the way they told the story was a lot different than what the cops told that murdered her. Named were Clark Millsap and 6 other low down murdering cops. But, they still refuse to give the names of the killers.

The suit claims the officers should have known she was mentally ill. Hell I knew she was because she started swinging a hammer at two armed officers.

Shooting someone, especially a woman with anything other than a firearm, is murder. We buy these renta-cops tasers, batons, pepper spray, etc why not save a life instead of gunning someone down. Pretty pitiful when 2 grown men can't handle a woman with a hammer without killing her.

They shot her FIVE TIMES!!!!! Donald you are stupid. Women can be just as deadly as men. My only question is, why did they stop at five shots?

Low down murdering cops. LOL Drama queen.

Holli was crazy as ape sh*t! Anyone who knew her knew that and that she was strong as an ox! When your life is threatened , police or regular person , you have a right to protect yourself.
Do I think excessive force was used , it is likely, however they were serving a warrant for an ARMED robbery suspect.
I hate it for her family, but she chose that life.

Oh quit standing in front of the mirror flexing your arms, little boy.

Hammer woman was dangerous, she hit a police officer with a hammer. She got what she deserved.

One thing we can be sure of, she is no longer using meth. Finally

Because of a uniform, you're a badass? My brother is a Ranger and though I respect and admire him for his dedication, sacrifice, and bravery, myself and many others would kick his ass in hand to hand combat. Being in the military does not make you Captain America all of a sudden, and short of our seals there is more time spent on firearms training than hand combat. That is unless you were trained in Israel, which has superior hand combat skills. Yes, people trained in hand to hand combat have more options in disengaging a situation however a hammer is a weapon. A weapon that caused reconstructive surgery on one of the deputy's hands. Furthermore, their argument for the suit is because she was unstable and they should have known. Ok, that just makes the leo's case stronger, as the woman clearly was not a rational person. I won't even placate your ridiculous statement that insinuated she was weaker because she was a female. I hate that a life was taken, however, SHE chose the outcome when she hit an officer with a hammer. Seems to me the family should spend more time trying to educate people on the effects of Meth than trying to place blame on someone other than the person at fault.
