The news bug must run in the family. Shortly after seeing a picture of that Duke guy in another thread, I couldn't get that shocking memory out of my head for a few days. I was watching CNN and saw someone named Roland Martin and immediatly had a flashback thinking that must be Duke's older brother because the resemblence was striking. See for yourself below.

Looks like Jerry's brother went on to bigger and better things but I wonder why their last names are different?

You know how those hollywood people are by using stage names. Or, he was probably so ashamed of Jerry that he dropped the last name Duke.

This must be how Jerry gets CNN to use his pictures & video. It helps having a relative in high places you know.

ditto .. I just searched the cop's name on the newswire and only saw the one story without all of the DETAILS in it. Thanks to the OTHER paper for being more thorough and writing about the positive things people are doing .. but I suppose it's difficult when you're so preoccupied with ruining a commissioner's life just to further a vendetta against his the man's wife's employer.

I understand it's hard for Jerry though with his newsiewife telling him just to get the who, what, when, and where. The rest doesn't matter .. to anyone under 10 maybe. He needs to hire a real editor.

If you thought before you spoke, you would know I do not tell Jerry what to do. He runs his business and I run mine (the house, our children, etc). Also, if your buddies will go back and check, I didn't post about the letter they want, Jerry did, accidently under my screen name, he posted a new reply right under the first post stating that. Therefore y'all also need to learn to read. And also, I am not an editor nor have I ever been one. Jerry is the one and only. How about you read the news site www.Romenewswire.com to find the stories. You keep referring to the forum as the news site. Realize they are two different sites. Anyone with a sense of technological knowledge would be able to tell a forum from a news media site.

And at that I have said my piece. I will not be visiting this site to view your banter amongst one another anymore. Since you know where I hang my hat, you may visit me there to talk to me. Try to grow up and stop talking about people behind their backs when you do not have the real knowledge to even speak or type knowingly about a topic.

Do people read the Enquirer for news? No, halfway intelligent people pick it up in line at the grocery story while bored just to see what crap they've printed this time. Then there are the newswire readers that seek it out so they can get the "latest."
