New Publix possibly coming to Rome

I love Publix, they are always clean and they have everything. I'm excited about the possibility of having one in Rome.

I haven't tried those. I shopped at Publix in Atlanta and loved it because of the variety and the cleanliness. They have terrific cakes too, and I don't really need those.

I prefer Publix. Kroger is so crowded and Walmart is not fun to shop at - so I welcome a Publix to Rome.

With the drastic downturn in the economy, I don't know if we stand a chance of getting a Publix now but I keep hoping. I would love to have a QT in the area too, they are another very clean and well managed store and they, unlike most convienence stores do not leave one employee alone to run the place. That cuts down on robbery possibilities. I'm afraid a lot of the places that planned to come to our area may rethink that because of the economy.

rome can if the ledbetters can build one before going bankrupt,again,or if the ledbetters can bankrupt right after building a publix.Then the newly and once again bankrupt or quit maiking payments or whatever they do ledbetters can demand to build a new strip outlet on top of the duck pond and on flood prone and wetland property.they can then go into foreclosure one more time after they see fit to make sure the duck pond goes away.
