You inept Carrollton citizens realize that they just serve hamburgers, fries, chicken, and shakes, right? McDonalds, Burger King, Hardees, and Dairy Queen all do the same thing.

I realize that they're good, but... That parking lot and drive-thru line are ridiculous.

I am in agreement. Anything new always has this outcome -- jeepers, Steak n Shake is cool mainly because they use silverware and real plates and I like it. However, it is just another burger and fries place. Also, Olive Garden to me isn't any good -- folks line up for that, too. I'd much prefer the little Italian Restaurant on the square. Frankly, I'd prefer Stouffer's frozen dinners to Olive Garden. Don't know what these folks would do if a real authentic Italian Restaurant came to town. Quite honestly, I don't even go to chain restaurants often -- everything is designed for barely decent food in small portions at too high a cost. There, I'll shut up.

Good point, Foodie.

And to the Cedartown forumites above, I posted this in the CARROLLTON forum. I agree that Petros is excellent, but it's not near Carrollton.

The Steak N Shake in Hiram is pretty good. Good service, clean and the food is fresh. And.....there is a difference....BK, MickyD's, Wendy's etc, cannot compare to their shakes!!!

LMAO. I remember when Checkers opened in Cedartown, they had to have the police to direct traffic for the first week or two.

Always something to complain about. Lines have died down- food is mediocre and cost is outrageous for a simple burger

The guy said "Always something to complain about" and then explained how business/traffic has calmed down there, as if I'm complaining about nothing. I know that Steak and Shake is no longer crowded, but it was when I started this thread.

So, HMMMM, stick that in your smart pipe and smoke it.
