romenewsbywatson.com may answer your questions for you. Teresa Watson has done several stories about her problems. You'll get nothing but silliness and insults here. Still a joke.

she was a good looking woman in her prime.Could very well still be at her age.
My dad bought property from the lemmings 2 decades+ ago and i now own one particular piece here in alabama.
hell the daughter looked good at one time.probably still does.
The point: one never knows just what is simmering below the surface.
is ms.lemming still in jail?

INfo Only: Lorraine Lemming has now been in Jail One Thousand Six hundred days and nights, (1600 days). She has a release date of April 2032, no chance before that time. All for pointing a shotgun at someone she thought cut her dog's tail off. Chalk this up as Torture, not punishment, and then look at the Justice system in this County. That by the way is Floyd County, Ga.

The ones responsible for that sentence will answer for it one day. I hope their sleep is disturbed in the meantime.

I never understood that sentence. All she had prior was alcohol related charges I am thinking.Nothing serious either.I do not know that for sure but do not recall reading about anything worse.
I agree as those that rendered that sentence shall hopefully have karma bite them on that A$$.

I rarely ever post on these threads but I would like to say that the sentence Ms. Lemming received in relation to her offence, is a gross miscarriage of justice and should have been overturned long ago. That is my personal opinion based on the reading I have done about the case. I don't know any of the people involved but I do know of some murderers who have served less time. One in particular who commited a paid contract murder, crossed state lines to commit the crime and served only 5 years.
Something is very wrong with our system of justice when these types of atrocites are allowed.

Very true. Just look at some of the pitiful prison terms served by folks convicted of vehicular homicide. most are out within 2 years.

I can even see that if it is a situation where the person charged was not drinking and could not avoid the accident but there are some who should get more time for the types of crimes they commit. I've just never heard of a sentence like MS Lemming got for that type of offence.
I take that back, I knew a man who was passed out in the back seat of a car and the driver robbed a place. The owner of the place robbed even testified that he never saw the other man but the man made the judge mad and he gave him a life sentence. He did several years later get it reduced.

Twink, I meant to say folks that kill someone while driving drunk. They get released just to to do it again.

I agree with that, and people like the lady who has been caught driving drunk with children in the car, more than once, should get more than their hand slapped. It's shameful but part of our justice system still depends on who you know and how much money you have. There is no such thing as equal justice for all.
I knew a man once who's son was an alcoholic. This was back before they started enforcing habitual violater laws. He not only drove drunk 99% of the time, he totaled several cars A(he was lucky no one else was ever involved) and he did get sent to jail several and his dad would run right down, wringing his hands and bail him out. Sadly enough, this mans brother and sister were just as bad.
The dad bailed all of them out of anything they got into for years. He mortgaged his house to pay to get them out of trouble and when he became disabled to work, he did not draw enough money to make his house payment. He lost his home that he had owned for 20 years and he had to move into government subsidized apartments. He lived less than a year after that.
Those kids (grown kids)never apprecaited tht poor man and after his death, they had no one to bail them out and they still continued staying in trouble. Maybe if he had let them sit in jail when they were younger, they might have learned something about taking responsibility for their actions.

Lorraine lemming was sentenced to 90 years serve 30 w/0 parole without the benefit of a jury. Her paid lawyer told her "Not to Worry" he and the Judge had an agreement. They did, he sold her down the River for a price. The Judge pulled a stunt that would make Judge Cook-Connelly look like Sweet Aunt Betty singin in the choir.

All Lorraine Lemming has ever asked for and is still pleading for is something our Constitution guarantees us all "A Trial by a Jury of Her Peers". She was tried by a Judge who was biased, prejudiced, and troubled to say the least. No Jury, and not a single defense witness called. She is being tortured and humiliated daily because the judge as did Judge Cook-Connelly had a grudge and used all her ill-gotten power to act on that power. I wonder when all this finally comes out Will this ambitious Judge who has shown her inabilty to control herself be considered for the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court. Maybe even Governor? She has that kind of ambition. This case in my humble opinion will haunt her for the rest of her political life. When she loses the Judgeship she will probably take the DA's office back. Who knows.

LL

Sorry to use your cite for this LL, but it was
handy and it won't take much space. I read TW's referral to the RNT's (and TW's) praise of Stan the Man? Sutton. Dear Father in Heaven help me!
There is no hope for Rome Ga. This is the state of awareness in Rome? Yeah, I see it is. It is beyond simply screwed up, it's perverse, twisted, and sick. Where is Calder now? We need a sequel.

The family is now looking at two avenues. 1. habeous corpus which is I think "produce the body in latin" however this appeal which would probably get her back in court are only successfull 3-5% of the time. And guess what, one judge would have to determine that another judge had made a mistake or committed wrongdoing, That just does not happen. 2. An appeal to the Ga. Supreme Court based on Law which cannot be revealed at this time. Oh yeah, I forgot there is a 3rd way The Judge who turned down the "Motion for New Trial could reverse that decision based on new evidence or error by the original Trial Judge. I am not a Lawyer, so this is my thoughts on what I have been told. In conclusion When the only 3 witnesses' called at the motion for new trial were "Her Trial Judge" "The District Attorney who had represented her" and worst of all the "Paid Attorney Ron Patton whose testimony was the most harmful" Yes you heard right, after being accused of malpractice Patton then testified against her and persuaded the Judge that she should not have a new trial. It would have gotten his butt in a serious crack. Saw him the other day, "Looks like he is 80 years old"

These comments tell the story. There is precious little justice in the world. Judges need to be held accountable for their sometimes warped sense of power.

I think it's a shameful miscarriage of justice. People have been turned loose for commiting much harsher crimes.
I wish MS Lemming the best of luck, I hope her situation can be righted soon.
