First time poster, long time reader of boards regarding Rome, Ga. and the surrounding area. For fear of what I've seen happen to others here I have never responded to any posts, but thanks to Newsflash, I am now I.P. proxy endowed, and like the rest, will express my views. I have tried to locate the article mentioned by Senator Ted but can't find it, could you post a link? For the latest "news" article, insert chuckle, it is at most, incongruous for any "investigative" journalist to base one's findings, much less dedicate a front page story, on evidence referred to, and I quote, "Horrible, nasty, vile things have been said about various local folks, and anyone familiar with 'namewithheld' style could probably identify this,(these) couple of posters as well." Mrs. Watson, I do not know you, but your reputation as an apostate reporter of gossip and innuendo precede you. No reputable journalist would ever, for any reason, even think of revealing the indentiy of a source,even a bad one. A real journalist would never consider trying to betray the identiy of someone who, in trust, provided you with their true identity. You have not only done this once, but twice in less than a few months. Don't even try to qualify your reasonings, there are none. You are an insult to real journalists who have accepted jail time instead of giving out this kind of information. Your story is nothing more than the kind of inflammatory gossip you've become well known for. As you stated, blog owners such as yourself are covered under the auspices of free speech to publicize what they will, but be aware Mrs.Watson, you have shown your true colors with the last two posts you wrote where you attempted to betray the trusts of your own sources, and this will come back to haunt you in your future, "investigative" reporting. You Mrs. Watson, are the vile one, you use people to your own advantage and then throw them to the lions. I agree 100%, Mrs.Watson needs help. I believe she is mentally ill. she has NO integrity, she is a sorry, and mean spirited person.

The ones speaking of Billy Johnson in past tense you're very smart to say he's served his time and paid his dues! Now, for you who want to blastimize him for untruths is left for you to live with. I know this man very well and his wonderful family that don't deserve something that happened over 40 years ago to still be topic of today, I think there is enough out there that's current events you hold focus on. Leave the family of Billy Johnson to live in peace.
