blame the auto makers for having a car that drives itself. cars shouldnt have speeds in excess over 50 and the brake pedal is not neccesary. should drive like a forklift. when the foot is off the gas it doesnt move. Like an electric palletjack. and they dont need to go 50 mph in 2 seconds. how many times have you read that people hit the gas instead of the brake and zoomed in a crowd.

Really?

How about if we blame the dude who was driving under the influence, and readily admitted to officers that he should not have been driving?

Poor baby, what a terrible thing to happen to a family, first the mother, now her little boy. The one responsible should go away for a very long time.

so when is this going to end?? Never. All the judges are sympathetic to the drunks
and event the insurance companies are lenient. I know someone that let a family member who is listed as a driver on one of their cars drive drunk not once but twice and she got two DWI's but American Family Insurance still lets that person stay on even though they are on house arrest. There is no punishment for this crime. And from what I hear the rates on the insurance did not even go up for this person. Can AMFAM be that desperate for customers???

Just tragic. And oh so preventable. When will people wake up to drinking and driving...please...please learn to call a friend, relative or a taxi before you get behind the wheel. This pitiful young man has just ruined his life just because he was too selfish to get a ride! And 5 people lost their lives. Senseless!

This is God's will no doubt. That mother who was only 19 ( and why so young having kids ?) she made the decision to take that baby out, so why not blame her ? As for the drunk why not just shoot him ?

it is sad to see some thing like this happen. look in your past have you ever drove after you have been drinking or are tired? it could have been any one of us that caused that accident. we all have done it at least one time in our lives.[we are the lucky ones] dont drive after drinking or lack of sleep. i know the driver he is just like all of us and will pay for his actions the rest of his life.

You cannot be serious - blame the mother?

How does her age enter into this equation? Did you know that a 5-week old child was also killed in this crash along with his father? His father was 45 YEARS OLD!

This dude was drinking, he was tired, and he ran a stop sign. It doesn't get much more cut and dry than that. His decision to drive took the lives of five innocent folks.

No one should have to adjust their lives and/or lock their kids and family in the house because some idiot decides to drink and drive.

Wow...

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Capricorn

You'll have difficulty finding equilibrium in your emotional life at the moment; try to control the impulsive side of your character. At work, your usual powers of intuition will be clouded. Fits of feverishness may bother you and break down your energy. If you can get out into the countryside for a walk, you'll feel much better.
