What they are doing is ridiculous! Nuclear energy is the way to go, or clean coal. These turbines create more jobs overseas than they create here. People like Ted Kennedy and Barbara Streisand don't want them near their houses so they push them onto the people in Wyoming. It will have more affect on wildlife than the other forms of energy. If you look at the eyesores and count how many are actually turning you can see that they aren't very efficient. Nuclear energy doesn't mean that our hair will start falling out. Even the governer of Wyoming stated that it is not realistic for us to depend on turbines alone. On 20 acres of land at Jim Bridger power plant four units, 600 megawatts,(2400 megawatts total) is what is produced seven days a week twenty four hours a day. On four acres of land approximately one turbine will occasionally produce 2 megawatts. You do the math.

First, there is no such thing as 'clean coal', & nuclear power was only a viable option back when our borders were closed.
Wind power is very efficient when you base the facts upon the Kw produced per gallon of petro lubes used.
Your facts & figures "might" be right if folks only placed one turbine in 4 acres! The Bridger site is not the norm.
Turbines harm less wildlife & lifestock than automobiles.
All these facts are available thru your keyboard.
