Who is the cop why is his name a secret?
Given the number of morons floating around stupid theories about what he did, they're probably worried about retaliation by the same clowns who were friends of this thug.

Well let me tell you all that AJ was a great person, My boyfriend of 2 yrs is his best friend and was there when it happened, they say he pointed the gun at him but the way that the bullets enetered and exited the body just doesnt add up, Yes aj had his faults but who doesnt these days. He had one of the biggest hearts that i have ever known and would do ne thing for anyone as long as you didnt do him wrong. He was never given a chance at anything just because of his last name. And he will b greatly missed!! I as well as alot of others would appricate it if you didnt leave mean comments. Cuz if a family member or someone close to u died would u want ppl sayin mean and hurtful things?? No I dont think so...so please be generous to those of us who loved AJ!! I LOVE YOU AJ!! AND WE WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH1! REMEBER YOU SAFE PLACE CAN STILL B AT MY HOUSE!! MISS U!!
You don't know how the bullets entered the body, you're not the coroner, and I guarantee you didn't examine the body, so stop saying stupid unfounded things even you know aren't true. Put the crack pipe down.

As for your boyfriend being his best friend, that probably means your boyfriend is a fellow thug, so of course he's going to defend his thug criminal partner. It's probably going to be hard to find a wingman for the next robbery.

I just caught the Youtube videos......this is supposed the 'good side' of AJ Faulkner? No big loss. I say that the officer saved the citizens of Phelps County a lot of money and heartache. This guy was a thug, and think of all the burglaries and robberies prevented with a couple of well placed bullets. NO BIG LOSS!

Give the officer a medal, NOW!

Our streets are a little safer now. I absolutely hate thugs. I do not hangout with those type of people anymore. All they do is lie, bully, manipulate, and steal.

Exactly! Like all thugs, this thug is mourned by his thug friends. But the law abiding citizens of Phelps County have a little LESS to fear tonight. They have one less person who would kick in their front door and hold them and their family at gunpoint because they need drug money.
Kudos to the Officer

I don't believe this Officer planned to stop this car, pull out his gun & shoot this man AJ. I also don't think this man AJ, planned on being shot.It sounds like to me, if this man AJ could of, would of,"KILLED this Officer 1st."!! And friends & others would be saying poor AJ & would be making excuses, for maybe shooting an Officer. How dare You, who ever thinks it's just fine to pull out a gun on a person, Officer or Not!! Shame On You!! This Cop was just doing his job & protecting himself. God Bless him. Who ever is Mike from Union,Mo.,Kudos to you for standing up for your Officers in Mo.!!

Even if he did try to change his life, the cops would still harrass him.. Due to his last name and who his parents are. It is a shame, and he did wrong by even trying to out smart a cop. BUT did the cop really have to shoot to kill!? Heck, idk the whole story yet or even if I ever will. We shall see I guess.
Why should he have been harassed because of his name or who his parents are? His paternal grandparents are great people. His uncle was a Rolla Rural Firefighter, EMT, Paramedic and dedicated his life to saving people's lives. They all have the same last name.

You're exactly right there. Everybody has family. That his father was engaged in criminal activity is no reflection of the rest of the family. You can't help who you're related to. Audy Faulkner's involvment with criminal activity was entirely his own.

This isn't directed at you "blacksheep" but, every family has someone in it that is know as their Black Sheep. Unfortunately, this families Black Sheep failed to teach his son any different. This is no reflection on the rest of the family. I feel sorry for them this has happened; but I believe they know the problem. BTW - RPD posted the restuly of the Coroners Inquiry on their facebook page. The ruling, by a citizens jury, "Self Defense"

No problem dArtagan. I get it. I'm glad that justice was served. It's unfortunate that someone died, but it really was self-defense.

My question is for the ones who said that we would be surprised when the real story came out......it's out. I'm not surprised. He was shot three times not 8. He was not shot in the face. See, people make up crap that gets wild and out of hand for no reason that the psychological need to humanize the "victim" so that they can justify feeling upset about their dead friend. YOu do not need to feel guilty about being upset or missing him. He was someone you loved, despite his faults. His parents and family loved him, despite his faults. Go ahead and grieve. It is your right. Just understand that he had his faults and he could have very well been a danger to someone. Mourn but use this instance to better yourself not as an excuse to continue down a wrong path. God Bless.

The officer needs a wake up call. And hopefully this is it. I thought the RPD was held at a higher standard I thought we were suppose to trust their word. This same officer has recently had an affair with a crack whore whom he arrested. Really? And you represent who? Rolla's finest? My point if he would lie to his wife and family why would the courts and people of rolla trust him? Nobody should ever speak of the dead in an ugly manner it is wrong and doesnot say much about what kind of person you are. I hope this event plays in the officer heads over and over and it eats away at his soul until he is nothing but a shell of a person. You officer M have a lot to live with.
Why would the officer need a wake up call? If someone pointed a gun at me I would shoot to stop the threat as well. If someone pointed a gun at you would you just stand there like an idiot and let them kill you or defend yourself? I bet you're one of AJ's but buddies.

During the Coroners Inquest a panel of 6 men and women heard testimony, saw photographs and had reports read to them. On top of that, people in the gallery could ask questions of the witnesses. Those 6 men and women learned more about the incident than any of you jerks know and they determined the officer acted in self defense. None of you were there at the traffic stop and chase. None of you were there during the inquiry, so, Whine, Moan and Monday Morning Quarterback all you want, the jury has spoken. The officer did his job, exactly as he was trained to do, and the citizens of Rolla are safer for it.

Just a few thoughts from the Southside

These idiots who feel that they MUST defend criminal behavior are probably on the thug side of life too. Ya'll had better straighten up because the law is being enforced. Cops are doing their jobs and they are keeping us safe from people like you. I live by the law and I make no excuses for outlaws.

Remember this, folks, if you learn nothing else.......dont commit crimes and point guns a police officers (or armed citizens for that matter!) or your thug butt might get shot! And when you do we'll be here to declare it no big loss!
